I am impressed with the product..Initially I thought it won't work properly, but I am glad that I am wrong. 4 🌟 because of not so good suction points ; now and then my canister filter takes air because of it and High price.

This little piece of plastic does wonderul job... what a piece of work... little engineering work does wonders... no more protein film on surface... nothin.. crystal clear... one star down for overpricing... should have been max Rs.450...

Good product serve the purpose. I see few negative comments, which according to me are not correct. It works the way it need to. Skim the surface and makes water clean. I added into my planted tank and works fine. You might need to work on adjusting the flow. Use the instruction on the box.Also Amazon delivered 4 days before the actual date, which is great. Keep it up Amazon.

The media could not be loaded.  I had a film on top of my water and didn’t want to update to a canister due to convenience. Got this attachment for my Marineland Penguin Biowheel 75 and it fit nice. I had to cut down my main line an inch so the skimmer could stay attached. Only adjustment I made.

added to a shrimp tank kept loosing shrimp in the filter don't recommend this.

It's way way way more durable than the Fluval surface skimmer (which I've owned two of and both have broken after just a couple months' use).You adjust it by turning the top (where the teeth are) to control flow. Works perfectly.My only complaint is that it's stiff when adjust the flow, which causes the skimmer to contort and shift completely out of alignment with the outlet. The only remedy is to use both hands when make flow adjustments: one hand to hold the skimmer in place, and the other hand to adjust the flow.Not a big deal, but enough of an annoyance to remove a star.

Powerful suction, small size fit my 10 gallon fish tank

I use this on a Fluval 407 and had to cut 6 inches off my original intake for this to work. I have tried multiple skimmers and I am finally happy with this one.There are 2 places for adjustments, one is the rubber collar around the skimmer and the other is the skimmer/ bottom intake ratio.This is not a set it and forget it type of device. This requires maintenance and adjustments just like your aquarium.
