This has always been a great brand. I used to by Nielson-Massey flavorings at Harmon's in Utah, but since I moved to Colorado I can't find it in the grocery stores :-(This product appears to be made in the USA.This organic flavoring comes in a glass bottle, so the liquid won't get contaminated with chemicals from the plastic. I knew a chemist who worked in a refinery. He said a sample in a glass bottle could sit on a shelf indefinitely. When a sample was in a plastic bottle they only had a couple of weeks to test the sample before the plastic contaminated it.

I used this today to make Nancy-style French macarons. The flavor enhanced the almond flour and was very flavorful after baking.

Almond cookie recipe called for vanilla extract which I used. The cookies were quite good. I then used the almond extract. The cookies weren't quite good; they were fabulous!! Not only did the extract enhance the taste of almond, it had a wonderful almond aroma.

This is the best extract money can buy! I’m a retired Chef, Nielsen-Massey is the only brand I use! It’s great to use in savory and sweet dishes (amazing in apple pie filling), amazingly delicious!I would highly recommend this and the seller!

nothing to dislike flavor is superb as is the aroma! my cookies were fantastic and gone in a flash when my boys and grandson came to visit!

I am quite a baker and have used many products over the years but no flavoring comes close to the quality of Nelsen-Massey Organic Extracts. I highly recommend.

Nielsen Massey products are usually very good, but the almond taste was over the top. Almond flavor is naturally subtle. Don't know what the tasters were thinking when they produced this. Sorry to say, I can't use it to bake because it tastes and smells unpleasantly strong, not like the subtle taste of almonds at all.
