been using Maggi seasoning for may many years and they are the best seasoning for soups, rice dishes like pulao, or any dishes for the extra flavor

Every European soup recipe (that I've come across!) features a base of broth, either vegetable broth, in some rare cases (the Europeans/Americans don't really care for veg, except faddists who are vegan and a few who really care for it), and chicken or beef stock in others. Since my cooking is 90% vegetarian, these cubes are an essential stand-by, cutting out a long and tedious process of making veg. broth from left-over veggies.Downside - they are very salty, and there is a great deal of difficulty in reducing the salt taste in any soup with this as a base.Upside - half-a-lump (these are NOT cubes) to a cup of water, one lump to two cups, and that's it. Takes a minute or two after releasing the broth concentrate into boiling water, and it's good to go.I'd have to depend on hot water and stir ready-made powdered soups without these. With these, carrot, potato, leek and potato, peas, beans, squash aka kaddu/kumro - haven't found a misfit yet.

Recieved a couple of days back.It's November 2020 right now, and expiry is next month. Manufacturing date is a year back.Not worth it.For a product offering 24 cube packs to be exhausted in a haste because they're giving you product nearing the expiry date is ridiculous.

It add great flour to veg Biryani and curry.Note: no salt needed
