Great replacement for original fan in samsung system
I purchased this because of my original fan making a loud noise for about a minute when turning on the unit. The items was as described. The holes were bigger than the original fan as other customers described. I was able to make it work with the screws that came with it though with a little patience. It was somewhat difficult to get the nut on the back of the screen with the other equipment that was already in the unit. I had to hold the nut with some needle nose pliers while tightening the fan. This fan does have the proper two pin connection for the Samsung unit unlike similar fans I saw on Amazon. The new fan has eliminated the noise without me having to purchase an entire new system so I am pleased.

Fixed my FAN CHK issue on Samsung HT-Z510
Bought a used Samsung HT-Z510 to replace my failed soundbar only to hook it up and get FAN CHK before the unit powered itself off. After some googling I came across this product and I am happy to say 8 little screws and one little plug was all I needed to fuss with to replace the dead fan with this replacement fan. Now the system is working like new again, no more FAN CHK or shutting down every other minute. Would recommend!

Hate to throw away a perfectly good system over one ...
My Samsung surround sound's unit fan conked out and could not find the part within a hundred miles of me. Thankfully this one was on amazon! Hate to throw away a perfectly good system over one lousy fan but this saved the day!

I can't utilize my Samsung HT X50 Entertainment System
Hello. I liked the price, easy installation, and size. I disliked shipping time and the fact that the fan did not help solve my problem. The correct fan model number is exactly the same as the original factory fan part. The fan is properly installed and it spins well when it is automatically activated by the system, but I still receive the "Check Fan" overheating message - then my entertainment system shuts off after 2 mins. This means a great deal to me with my music production endeavor. Any suggestions?

Doesn’t work as it should.
Purchased this fan to replace my noisy fan in my DVD player. While the fan is quiet and does spin. It doesn’t move as much air as my old noisy fan does and makes the unit still flash an error “check fan”. I ended up putting old fan back in. Have contacted seller.
