SAS Rosewood Chinrest for 3/4-4/4 Violin or Viola with 24mm Plate Height and Goldplated Bracket

It is a comfortable tailpiece and looks good enough. I was surprised that for the price that more time was not invested in the hardware.. this is not what I'd describe as "herloom quality" The metal looks like cheaply plated pop metal. I would have expected true brass and GREAT fitment at this price. I wish it was, because I love the idea of the chinrest. I may look at having a machinist friend make new, quality hardware.

It fits great for my large jaws and is adjustable so it can fit anyone! I can finally do a vibrato without shaking the whole violin so glad I bought it!

This is an amazingly comfortable chin rest, and it also looks great on an old fiddle set up with rosewood pegs and tailpiece. One thing to note is that it can be moved so that it's centered almost entirely over the tailpiece for those of us who hold the fiddle that way. The tiny feet are offset so that one of them can actually go *under* the tailpiece - it's quite ingenious.Note that it comes in a variety of heights to fit your neck.

Love the fit and feel, however it gives me a nasty rash on my neck. So, I just cover it and all is good.

I liked that the chinrest angle was adjustable, I didn't like that you have to use a separate Philips screwdriver

ビオラに付けてみました。結構楽器の外側に付くので(シリコンの部分が外に少しはみ出す)これで良いのか少し不安ですが、商品画像を見てもはみ出しているような気がするので気にしすぎかもしれないです。専用工具がついていますが、これをなくしたら外せなくなるということなので、(頼めば工具だけ買えるのかしら)ケースに入れておきますが、物を失くしやすいのでやや不安です。顎当て自体は、使いやすいです！普通の顎当てだと、顔をだいぶ左側に持ってこなければいけない錯覚に陥るため、首を左側に不自然に伸ばして構えるクセがあって、そのせいで首が痛くてたまらなかったのです。というのを発見して、この顎当てを注文しました。首を無理なく楽な位置に置くことができ、痛いのは解消しそうです。これから使っていくのが楽しみです。

チンレスト自体の幅が広く彫りが緩やかなので，顎が痛くなりにくい。また，エンドピースをまたぐように固定されるので，構えたときに自然とネックに対しての角度が適正になる。
