Sony MH750 Stereo 3.5mm Headset - Non-Retail Packaging - Black

I have to say from the first song these blow me away for the price. They do live up to the hype. I did not expect that. I have many much more expensive iem's and over the ear phones. I can say these hold there own with much pricier equipment. Vocals are perfectly present, bass is tight and not boomy. Highs are crisp and clean. I am very sensitive to the highs and these are not fatiguing at all. My only SQ complaint is the mid bass and low vocals are not as seprated as I would like, but this could charge with a little burn in. Overall I am amazed for the price and feeling a little ripped off about some of my more expensive monitors.

I purchased this headset because I was looking for one that had a good microphone. I have an iPhone 4s and have found that the talk quality is not good. I read that the Sony MH750 has a "HD" microphone so I decided to give it a try. Based on my brief experience with it the talk quality does seem to be better than other headsets I have tried. That's a big plus for me. The only problem is that the answer/end button does not work and in fact it hangs up on my callers. I complained the seller (Avyden) and they were very courteous and prompt in their offer to replace it but I decided to keep it for the mic and use other headsets when I need the "remote control" functions.So my main reason for writing this review is to let people know that the ans/end button may not work with your phone. I am still looking for a headset that emphasizes the telephone talk quality but it is an elusive goal.

The media could not be loaded.  Best cable earphones, have bought it several times this is my third pair. Compared this to my others ones this is the best one

It works and I am HARD on these things. I need to buy them in lots of three as I manage to step on them, dunk them in the toilet, wind them too tight around my phone and have the button piece snap. The only thing I haven't had happen to me is the even more frustrating way my straight connection headphones always end up wearing out at the jack connection and the wiring seems to break down. With these the jack connector is a right angle piece so the stress on the wiring to the jack housing is no where close to as bad so I haven't had any MH750's fail do to wiring issues. Just mishaps, or abuse. Also the ear cups are very good, nice fit for me out of box so I haven't had to use the others supplied. The sound quality is excellent and the cord length fits fine from my pocket.

This product has good quality, compatible and works fine with Sony Xperia J (CTIA technology).I think it works good on all new Xperia models.

(Michael- Husband of account holder)Before I get into the terrible design of the headsets, first let me delve into the astronomical time it took for delivery. Almost 2 MONTHS!!! 1 month in actual estimated shipping time and another 3 weeks to finally receive the product (shipped from the UK to western U.S.). Once I realized the date of Feb 8th had come and gone (the 10th) amazon no longer had any tracking information to offer (package unknown). I contacted the seller on the 13th and they said they would priority ship another out right away... it finally arrived the 24th... 11 "PRIORITY DAYS LATER". So, on to the product. Who in their right mind would wear headsets that are off balanced to the length of the wire connected to the ear buds. One side is 3 times longer than the other causing the feel to be one sided. If the cord were to be disturbed, one ear bud would be yanked out of one side, plus you now have extra wire dangling down on your chest waiting to snag on something. Seriously, these seem like manufactured defects that someone ran an few 1000 of and the employee who missed the mistake is out of a job, but Heck, they can be passed on to someone. Look, if your willing to cut the long side off and use it in just one ear, they sound pretty good, and I'd be willing too, I'm returning mine on principle (the photo does not clearly depict the extreme length difference from left to right. I'll take my business else where, thank you.

After receiving MH750 headset and plugging it in into my Xperia ray I was greeted with "headset not supported" message. Upon some web searching it seems that MH750 is CTIA standard headset and is not compatible with Xperia ray. Bummer... It does work with my laptop though...

I've owned 2 pairs of these headphones in the past which I was very happy and impressed with the base and treble quality for the price. However this recent pair there is a notable decline in that sound quality. Sounds kind of tinny. These are now made with lesser sound quality. Disappointed.
