Weaver Leather Diamond Braid Rope Halter, Average Horse

Nice halter, just not as stiff as I was expecting. Feels like it almost has some stretch to it.

GR8 deal for the price & proper use. There seems to be several comments about this halter not being a good training halter. It's NOT a good training halter, but the description doesn't state that it is. A training halter will usually be smaller diameter, much stiffer, & usually have 4 knots instead of 2, to apply pressure to the nose for direction & correction. This is exactly what it says it is, a big diameter, soft rope, general usage halter. I haven't had them long enough to say anything about how they hold up, but they are exactly what I expected them to be, other than BIG! I would NOT say they are for an average size horse unless the horses is warmblood size! LOL. I have quarter horses, not known for big heads, & the halters are pulled up with well over a foot of rope hanging past the knot.

They are good. I bought 7 of them because I like my horses to match. On the first night one broke his and a few months out and the other have stretched but that is to be expected..the stretching of the halters that is. But I would still but then again.

I love how soft this halter is. It's easy to put on and my horse responds to it much better then the traditional halter I used to use on her. I bought a different color for my other horse and they both look great in them.

Quality is good but you need to order a size down. Got Horse size for my big head TWH and it's huge on him.

I love most Weaver Leather products, and like anyone who loves their horses, seem to collect halters, saddle pads, etc. This halter is super soft, and I don't think it will do. I then bought the stiffer halter with the two knots on the noseband, and that one is as expected.

Bought this halter to do ground work in but it stretches so much that when she pulls, the halter is almost off her. I've tightened it about as much as it can go but I think it might just not be the best quality halter.

Love the color, is very comfortable and soft. Almost too soft as when you apply pressure it stretches a bit. Easily adjustable. Be careful when you put the halter on as the metal end on the tie can hit you in the face lol
