Nuit D'issey Issey Miyake for Men

Updated December 2023I don't know what it is about issey miyake colognes, but I never like them at the first smell. Just took delivery of this today after buying the leau d'issey, didn't like it at first either. I immediately found and bought the nuit version, after reading the comments that it was good and musky, yet manly.Did not like it at first. Smelt too musky without any balance.Walked my dog, 20 minutes later, the smell settled in my nose, and I was pleasantly surprised... That leather/vanilla note is right on once it settles. and is sexy.Gotten so many compliments at work, in public, and at parties. It’s winner winner chicken dinner.Nuit is definitely a night/fall/winter note, while leau d'issey is a summer/day time note. They're both really good though.Please note, I am specifically referencing the Parfum version in this review.

…it is not the “Parfum!” I’ve worn the “Parfum” for years, but not knowing the “Parfum” is a different I just ordered this one because the bottle and name looked the same. Still a nice fresh scent, just more citrus than woodsy that the “Parfum” has. 🤦‍♂️

Buying this type of product online is always a crapshoot. Is the seller pushing old inventory that has lost all its scent? Is it just alcohol with a light scent. Real? Fake? Knock-off?In this case, this item is the real deal. Scent is the same as you would find in a department store. Long lasting without being too heavy. The value is certainly there since that same department store is selling it for over $100.Highly recommended.

A great cologne for men, not sweet or overwhelming. Gets noticed.
