Love it. Beautiful night light
Love it. Beautiful night light. Gives the room a great ambiance in my oriental bedroom. One warning: tighten the screws by hand (be careful using a drill to tighten the screws or you might split the wood. It is fragile). You have to assemble it. It is a few screws. Not bad to assemble. I bought a second one I liked it so much.

Not very good quality. I'm pretty sure the frame is made of something like balsa wood. It's just stained black also, there's no real finish on the wood like I've seen on others. Also note that the base for bulb is a small one designed for a night light bulb. It's almost impossible to tell this thing is on in a light room.

Small Lamp
Well, it doesn't come with instructions, but I really don't feel it's that complicated to understand how it needs to be put together. I managed to do in about fifteen minutes with an extra set of hands to hold things while I used the screwdriver. It's maybe a foot high and about a hands-width wide. Very thin wood on the sides, but it hasn't broken on me or anything and I've had it for a few months now. Looks just like the picture, very cute. The packaged was damaged when it arrived but nothing was wrong with the actual product. It has a switch on the power cord to turn it on and off. Kind of dim--you use a 40 watt, I believe--so probably good for a night light or just decorative purposes. Definitely not the spot-light you're looking for.

Cute but cheaply made.
The packaging was sturdier than the actual lamp. It was quite difficult to hold together while assembling. It probably took me longer to put together than it will last. It’s cute but cheap looking. It would be OK as a party decoration similar to those round bamboo and paper lanterns as far as sturdiness and usefulness. Strictly a cheap decoration.

Decent product, assembly/design is kind of poor. Bulb is included, could use a larger bulb. On top of that it's almost required to disassemble to change the bulb. Price is also a tad high for product quality.
