Art Nouveau Cut & Use Stencils: 66 Full-Size Stencils Printed on Durable Stencil Paper Paperback – June 1, 1977

I highly recommend this book if you have both a love of Art Nouveau and an interest in tackling your own DIY craft projects.

I have been just tracing the stencils and then using carbon paper to get them on to things. I didn't realize that you needed to use linseed oil and jump through a number of irritating hoops to use them. Kind of a disappointment only because I have to trace everything and use carbon paper the upside is that the stencils are still in the book in perfect condition for future use.

This has been great for experimenting with design. Use patterns for tracing or stenciling. Make sure this isn't your only Art Nouveau design book, though. It is its own simplistic style out of a much broader selection of design options.

This is an oldie but a goodie. I was thrilled to find it.

The book contained artistic rendering of stencils but if you want to use them, you will need an X-ACTO knife to cut them out. Would have been nice to see some pages of the book so that you could decide if its really what you want.

This is a really great book if you are looking for art nouveau stencils. The paper that the images are printed on can actually be used as the stencil itself as long as you follow the treatment instructions in the beginning of the book. This is a great book with really great designs!

Nice graphics. Somewhat cumbersome to work with.

This is a beautiful book, With lovely Art Deco stencils. I am not using the stencils to stencil with but to do parchments craft - This book is ideal.If you like the designs of Art Nouveau you will love this .

Didn't realise (doh!) until book arrived that I'd need to destroy the book to use the stencils after involved process of soaking in turpentine and linseed !Worked out I could photocopy and enlarge/reduce then laminate any design, then cut out stencil with a craft knife - Worked really well.

How I read the description was the stencils were cut out but they not, so will trace around the pictures on put on card.
