Rubie's Costume Lord Of The Rings Aragorn Costume

Before wearing this costume I found the slaying of orcs to be a mundane and quite frankly boring task. Then I got this costume to wear for my themed 50th birthday and I feel energized as I take down hordes of orcs with ease and I feel good about it! now to be fair if you look at my attached pictures (quick rant to Amazon, why do you rotate verticle pictures to become horizontal?) you'll notice that I added a few things to this outfit. I've outlined what those were in my review below with links if you're so inclined as to try to replicate my outfit.This is a great product! I use all of it except for the belt and cloak as I wanted something heavier and more substantial. The cloak that comes with it is still not bad, but it's really too short for someone my size. I'm a 5'9" male and fit at around 160 lbs to give you some scale. The boot covers are actually too small for my feet (size 11), but they're good enough and the sleeves ride up on me some too, so technically it's a bit small for me but doable. The belt is a flimsy piece of cloth that is pretty much useless, but if for a Halloween costume where it's dark out it will do, but personally I'd just replace it with a real belt or something. In my case, I found a replacement on Amazon because I bought a replica Anduril sword so I needed a real sheath to hold my sword anyway. Because the tunic comes down quite far (as it should) I simply used a pair of Dockers pants which worked great.I bought the cloak on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H22KU4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s02 and this baby rocks. Again I’m 5’9” (maybe slightly taller and the cloak goes just a few inches from the ground which is perfect.I bought the belt/sheath on Amazon as well from here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007O0X1FK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00And I bought the sword at a site called[...]. Look for the Anduril Sword.The colors of this Aragorn costume are ideal as well and while it's not a heavy material I wouldn’t call is flimsy either. Oh, I forgot to mention that the string at the top of the costume only had one hole in it so my wife had to create a few extra holes to string it up, not a big deal but weird that all the holes weren’t there. Also obviously the Elvin pin does not come with the outfit. I bought that on eBay for a few bucks. Overall I’d highly recommend this costume for anyone who is height weight proportionate and around 5’6” to 5’9”.As an added bonus, if you currently work outside the home and have a challenging work environment I'd recommend wearing this outfit in its entirety to work. Before wearing this I'd often be assigned crappy tasks that quite frankly were beneath me. Once I started wearing this to work conversations became more like "Hey I need you [as in me] to get [insert crappy task here] done by the end of the day.' and now I simply pull my cloak back and expose the hilt of my two handed Anduril sword and it's more like "Hey I need someone to get [insert crappy task here] done by the end of the day, but I can see that you're super busy so I'll just assign it to someone else. Thanks for listening to me, and when you have time please stop by my office so we can discuss your raise and management opportunity that you seem ideally suited for.". My work life balance has improved dramatically, but to be clear the entire outfit is needed and the sword is a must for best results.I do not claim that any increase in job satisfaction, raises, bonuses or the slaying of orcs will result in your wearing of this costume or other third party items in my Aragorn outfit. These statements are meant for entertainment purposes only and are not meant for real world use (though it would be cool if, in fact, you tried this!). Please use caution when using the sword and do not heat up prior to using it to cut butter. Batteries are not included with this costume nor are they needed.There will come a day when the courage of men will fail, but it is not this day!

Deff looks cheaply made but good for a quick throw together.

Costume is flimsy and made of poor materials. "Belt" is particularly bad. The lace for tieing the top was badly frayed. But what do you expect for $25? It's adequate for the price.

Excellent costume for the price! The quality isn't amazing, but it looks great when you have it all put together.

The tunic is basically what you are paying for. The belt fell apart before I got it out of the box. The cape is thin and seems kid sized - in fact the whole costume would probably fit better on 10 year old kid than a grown man even though its labeled as "adult". The fake bootie tops look really cheesy. I guess I was expecting better from an "officially licensed product."

This product's quality is pretty awful, but then again. it's cheap. I'd opt for one that is more expensive.

The quality is complete crap! The string that ties the shirt together unraveled and the belt doesn't look like the picture at all. The size is completely off and looks too small on an average sized person.Finally, did I mention the quality is completely crap?

Bellissimo vestito e realizzato con materiale davvero resistente, una gioia per il mio bambinone che si è divertito un sacco !

Hatte diesen Artikel gekauft. Leider entsprach das Bild nicht ganz dem Gelieferten: Der Umhang hatte anstelle zweier Schnüre zum Binden nur einen winzigen Klett aufgenäht, vom dem die Gegenseite mit dem Fils nach innen aufgenäht war (das kann aber auch nur ein einmaliger Produktionsfehler gewesen sein..). Wie auch immer hielt der Umhang so nicht. Auch der Gürtel war ein sehr dünnes Band und gar nicht so kontrastreich wie auf dem Bild bedruckt. Desweiteren war anstelle der abgebildeten Gürtelschnelle lediglich eine Öse vorhanden, an der der dünne "Gürtel" nicht sehr schön zu schließen war. Aus diesem Grund wurde der Artikel bei dem hohen Preis ("Lizenz..") von ca 50 Euro wieder zurückgesandt. Der Rest ist allerdings - auch gem. Abbildung - in Ordnung (wie man es halt von einem Made-in-China Faschingskostüm gewohnt ist).

El disfraz tiene mucho detalle y es el oficial de 'El Señor de los Anillos'. De todo lo incluido la capa es el producto de peor calidad. El nudo de la túnica es de todo menos práctico, te viene la cuerda por un lado y la túnica por otro. Los cubrebotas lo mejor del disfraz.
