Turner Lift Top Coffee Table -

It's not a bad table per say, just wish that it was a little more heavier... Like most reviews here, the table is really lightweight, and easy to put together... easy in a sense that all you have to do is attach the 4 legs and you are done... it took me longer to take it out of the packaging then it did to put it together... advice to the seller... get rid of the cloth wrap with industrial stables in it! it just damages the table when trying to get them out! but other than that... yes super easy to put together, but my reason for taking off one star: its too light! there is no counter balance... if you open it all the way up, and don't put some heavy books or something in the storage area, it will tip forward on you with the slightest pressure... Bowl of hot soup is a no-no with no weights in the storage area! and again, when trying to close it, its to light, that sometimes, pushing the top to close it.... moves the entire table away from you! Then again, the cons are easily fixable with something heavy! so yes, still recommend

I think this table is exactly what I expected it to be. A pleasant surprise was that it came completely assembled with the exception of the legs (about 5-10 minutes of work). An unpleasant surprise is there was a small split in the wood and a chip off of one of the corners.The lift-top functionality is great in that it holds strongly whether it's half or fully lifted. The downside to this is that even though the table is 50+ lbs, it's still not heavy enough to stay in place when you're trying to lift the top - in other words, it's a 2 handed job to get this table in "lift mode".Overall I think it's a great coffee table and a reasonable price, but you have to really want the lift-top for it to be worth the price.

I had bought this being the cheapest lift top available. The table top is MDF board with a thin piece of veneer. It seems very easily damaged. The top is secured with small 1/2 inch screws and some glue but when I received mine I had to reglue it. The bracket had ripped out during shipping I'm guessin because the top is spring loaded and they cheaped out with the glue. I am not the only one to receive one damaged. Solid black top with some grain showing through. The body and legs are fine. Reminds me of ikea quality wood. The top easily scratches but I plan on making a new top because the one it came with is just boring. Great for college but if one has small kids, might be better to go with something else. The table will show every ding and scratch.

Tabletop rises when you don't want it to. It's pretty bad design. That's a shame, because this table is really nice looking. I eventually just took the spring off the entire unit and we just set the top back on it. Works well enough for now until we upgrade it.

I honestly liked this table until my toddler was REALLY mobile. The black veneer on the lift top damages easily and almost falls over when fully extended. It works for a no kid household lol.

Love the idea and that the table tops lifts for eating I from of the TV as we do every night. However this top lifts very high, as in chin height. So even though it has the cool lift top feature, we don't sure it because of how high it is and we are uncomfortable eating off a tangle that high.

I wanted a lift top table and could only find a black on Amazon. However, it dents and scratches super easy and after using it for only 2 weeks it makes a weird popping sound when I lift the top. For the price it's ok. I'm just getting a glass top to put on it.

We bought this for our camper and we repainted and reworked the top for that purpose. It works very well in that role. This is not something I'd sit in my living room. The quality is acceptable. The hardware is very good and it is stable.
