This has been a really fun way to play with watercolor! You color just like you would with regular colored pencils and then play with the water.

These are a great buy. I was curious about watercolor pencils but didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't like them, but I'm in love with these pencils.I am inpatient when it comes to painting with watercolors, waiting for the paint to completely dry before painting another layer feels like torture. These dry SO much quicker than regular watercolor paint. The colors are more vibrant than I thought they'd be.And they are very versatile.You can draw with the pencils first, and then paint the water over it.You can make a makeshift paint palette from watercolor paper by drawing a small circle or square with a pencil and then adding a bit of water and dip your brush in as you would with paint.You can take a wet brush and rub it directly into the tip of the pencil, like you would dip a brush into a paint pan.You can dip the tip of your pencil in water and then draw with it.You can use your brush to put water on the paper first and then dip the pencil into the wet spots on the paper.I really love these pencils and they were a very good price so definitely worth it.

Order was swift & assurable for my crafting thirst. Even during a pandemic!!! Definitely good for beginners! Leaves uneven strokes when dry, but when wet is reasonably nice! I am a beginner and like experimenting with varying modes of art. These were surely needed for my collection to leave pieces pigmented. I dont know if experts recommend this brand, but beginners do! Enjoy! :)

I purchased as part of a gift so I am not sure about the overall quality but compared to other companies, this is a really good value. The packaging was very nice and of good quality.

I don't feel like there is a whole lot of pigment in these. I bought another brand set, also probably lower end and the colors show up much better. I waited to get the second set as I am not a pro at watercolor pencils. I use paint normally and added this to my art room. I will likely give these to my niece who is a beginning artist as they are not something I would use in my artwork. It will be ok for maybe students, but to me, not for much else.

Works very well for making cards to send out. Gives opportunities to semi-blend colors in very small areas. Put in small amounts of more than one color in pencil-drawn space, then dot with tip of wet brush and colors will melt without moving for very luminous watercolor effect. Easy to melt and move around within larger area, too. Lots of fun!

Love them so much! It's my first time it with the water colored pencils in general so it's been a learning experience. I've had a blast with them though and they came intact, looked like new even though they weren't, and cover way better than expected. Thanks!

My daughter is 8 years old, and she loves to be artistic. As an amatuer myself, I encourage her talent. These were her first watercolor pencils for herself, and she loves them. I was able to draw out a few practice sheets for her. Teaching new techniques, explaining the use of swatches to understand your medium better, and a nice big space to make larger drawings. Her two current techniques are splatters and drips!

I love these pencils! They blend with water so smoothly and beautifully! It looks like a real watercolor painting after! Only problem for me is that I wish there were more colours! I absolutely love these!
