This bag is beautiful, and I wanted to make sure to include pictures because some of the pictures on Amazon just don’t do these bags justice. When you feel it you will know.Side pockets are nice and deep and slim, so while my huge water bottle would never have a chance of fitting in there, those pockets are perfect for phone and wallet. Quick access at the checkout line, yet deep enough so they won’t fall out easily unless you dumped your bag upside down like a barbarian.Front pocket is amazingly spacious. Like I might need to get some small organizer pouches for all the Knick knacks I throw in there(hand San, lotion, chapstick,keys), that’s how big.Inside is ofcourse amazingly roomy and organized. This is where I put my camelback chute (the largest version) and my lunch box for work. The side elastic pockets are perfect for keeping small items handy so they don’t float around the bag, (multi tool, reusable utensils etc)The internal zipperand slip pockets have unlimited possibilities. I keep my masks, sunglasses, receipts etc organized here. The longer zip pocket just happens to be the perfect length for tampons (see picture). Was this bag designed by women?🤔This is the medium size version of this bag and I find it is absolutely the perfect size for everything I need without carrying way too much.If you overpacked it, the shoulder straps may dig in, but they are really nicely padded so you would have to be carrying ALOT of weight for that to happen. Typically I have a big jug of water, lunch, energy drink, and everything else (around 7lbs) and it’s still comfortable to carry. If you exceed that too much you may start to get sore shoulders.Probably the longest review I’ve ever written on a backpack, and I have bought and returned an embarrassing amount of backpacks.I saw it in Marshall’s in a different color and was blown away by the quality and knew I had to have it in something more neutral. Buy it. Peace out ✌️

I returned Kanken for this Doughnut backpack, and I’m so glad I did!!! The look of this bag is so timeless, yet modern, and stylish. I’ve gotten a load of compliments on it. I use this backpack for everything - work, hiking, and carrying (minimal) camera equipment. There’s so many pockets and compartments in this bag, which makes organizing soooo easy. I can just reach in, find the specific pocket, and retrieve my items without even needing to look in it. I find it comfortable to wear. Honestly never will get another backpack other than this brand. Looks good and is functional, and SOO many colour options to suit your personality. I got beige and grey because I wanted something very neutral and I honestly love the way it looks. I carry this back pack every single day.When there’s backpacks like this around, I don’t understand the hype for Kanken whatsoever.Will probably end up purchasing another colour simply because I use it THAT often and get tired of switching things out of it constantly hahah.-Alysia
