This device cleans and dries brushes in about a minute depending on the size of the brush and its dirtiness. 8 rubber holders fitted almost all my brushes. The cleaner works great for powder brushes, for foundation brushes I advice to use it more frequently to get them super clean. Great easy to use product!

I am someone who is prone to acne breakouts, so I was looking for a more faster/efficient way to wash my makeup brushes each week. After several uses, this spinner sucks at 'washing' my brushes BUT is a lifesaver when it comes to drying them. When you try to dunk the brushes in soapy water, the spinner stops spinning. Afterwards, you're spinning dry a brush that in my mind is still dirty and is full of soapy water. Since I breakout easily, I've decided to continue washing my bushes the normal way and use this spinner to dry them.The pros:- The #1 thing that I love about this spinner is how fast it dries my brushes. I have a kabuki brush that always dries with a funky musty smell. I normally wash my brushes with antibacterial soap, towel dry them, and then hang them upside down to dry using a brush tree. After drying my kabuki brush for the first time with this spinner, the smell was gone!- No need to towel dry your bushes. Just wash it regularly and hook it up to the spinner and spin it dry inside the cup provided. You just need to spin it for a couple minutes and then you can hang it to completely dry from a brush tree.- This unit is rechargeable, no batteries needed- I like that there is an accessory cradle to hose all the different attachmentsThe cons:- The holders fit most brushes, but it's a pain to get brushes both on and off some of the attachments- The spinner vibrates when holding it, so my hand goes numb after drying several brushes- There is really no distinction between the two speeds on the spinner- It definitely doesn't do a good job of actually washing your brushes- The unit itself is pretty loudOverall, this didn't necessarily 'reduce' the time I spent washing my brushes, but it heavily reduced the brush drying time - and I'm okay with that. I typically wash my brushes around noon on Sundays and would leave them outside to air dry so they could be ready for use the next morning. With this spinner, my bushes are now dry within an hour (if that!). You can also choose to spin your brushes longer to dry it fast if you need to use it ASAP.

I bought this because I hate cleaning my brushes but I know that they need to be cleaned. I thought this would be a reasonable alternative instead of spending over $100 on the Lumia Machine. I bought this particular one because it's rechargeable and most of the reviews are 4 to 5 stars. I just got it in the mail finally today and I managed to charge it fully and began to use it... the brushes do not stay in the actual cleaner or whatever the name of it is that spins it.. It falls out constantly... it has nothing to do with the size of the rubber sleeves because those work fine... it's the actual connector that connects it to the device that doesn't stay in... Also my foundation brushes are not thoroughly cleaned after about 2-3 water changes and 20 minutes in between fighting to keep them connected to the device. I still find myself manually washing them. It is however a good drying mechanism... If I would have known this I would have saved my money and bought another brand or just went ahead and paid for the more expensive Lumia... In other words buy at your own risk!!!

I have used this product several times with different types or brushes and several different sizes. I find that the product works fantastic for smaller brushes (ex: eye shadow brushes or other small brushes). However, when I use bigger brushes (ex: foundation brushes or other dense brushes) the product's spinner has a hard time and eventually the brush falls out. Tips to help with this are: making sure the product is completely charged up, not having to much water in the bowl, and make sure to use the tightest fitting collar. I will continue to use this product and love that it is so quick and easy!

This is a great product. I am very happy with my purchase. The testament to its effectiveness is that all my white brushes are white again. I am pretty good at washing them, but they haven’t been white since I bought them. I used this brush cleaner once and it worked great. I even took a chance on my two squirrel hair brushes from Ultima II that my mother had bought me years ago (more than 30 years, heaven help me), which I’ve been holding on to more out of sentimental reasons, and this cleaner not only deep cleaned them, but now that all those years of accumulated guck is out, there is a restored softness to them. I just wish there was an in-between size of collar between my most used ones.
