Removal and installation was a breeze. Imagine pop-it beads being used as the model for installing these struts. Less than 10 minutes to remove and install. I really can't rate longevity yet, but we are off to a very good start.

It was extremely easy to install. The hardest part was trying to hold the trunk door open and install at the same time!

Easy to install. They are stiffer than the factory units so they require more force to close. They also open the trunk/gate faster than the stock units. They have lasted over a year without any loss of function.

They snapped right in place and worked well from the start. The cylinder appears to be narrower than the original; but they are functioning just fine after two months of service.

The old struts stopped working. Bought this set and installed them, minor difficulty for the first one, but not much. 2nd one was no problem - learned from the first one. But I had to be careful for a while to get used to them - these are really strong and would almost hit you in the chin when you released the back hatch. Should be fine for quite some time.

Actually had them installed by mechanic. Back door on my Honda Odyssey works like a new one. Once I pull latch and barely lift, the door pretty much goes up on its on. Have to actually push door down to close. Love them for what I paid for them.
