Brillliant for woodwork. This hammer has two great advantages.Firstly, the heads are interchangable. So if you damage one or wear it out, you can replace it. Plus you can get different heads of differing softnesses.And secondy, it's called the Thorex hammer. To which I've renamed it Mjölnir
