Junkers 6070-2 Mens Bauhaus Black Leather Strap Watch

I love this watch, it is so light and stylish.It is my first 40mm watch and I was afraid it will be too big for me but I really like it.I'm glad I choose this model and brand.

Seconds hand doesnt line up, but other than that I'm very satisfied. Contemplated getting a junghans, but to me, this one has more character. I wanted something in between the stripped down bauhaus style and the busy face of a chrono; this fit the bill. The emblem really sets it appart.

Come on, Junkers. Just because something has a particular association doesn't mean that you need to label it as such. "Bauhaus" written right on the dial? Really? Bad call.

I am writing this review as someone who was initially skeptical to the reviews on crystal quality. The matter of fact is that if you buy this watch you will scratch it; a plastic crystal is simply not durable and sustainable in day to day wear. With that being said the watch is definitively a beautiful one, but one I would not recommend buying at this price point due to crystal quality.

First thing i did when i got this watch out of it's box is tried to remove the tag that was attached to the strap buckle by pulling it off... to my surprise the buckle cam flying off... i thought perhaps my expectations about watch strength were too high, so I tried to break the buckle on my sub-$15 casio... it would not give! then a couple days later after I was starting to enjoy the watch, I rubbed the glass up against a wall and scratched the done very badly, this watch is very fragile and the strap does not have a premium look or feel. Nor does the face or arm precision.

I saw this watch on a Lufthansa flight but it wasn't available. I found it online and had to have it. The secondary loop for the wristband slides around quite a bit but otherwise, love the watch.

I returned it..looks kind of cheap to me; also the watch face is too large...

Very nice looking watch, with low profile and simple 'bauhaus' design. The crystal is an acrylic, which has pros and cons - easy to scratch (but also easy to remove scratches). The crystal has a nice domed profile. Seconds hands hits the markers fairly consistently which is a bonus. The logo on mine was not as in the picture - much smaller and located at the 12 o'clock position, which is more consistent with the clean looks of the watch - I believe the one I recieved might be an older version though. Overall a nice smart watch (but I would not pay RRP!).

If your taste, like mine, runs to this kind of watch and it's more expensive brothers from Junkers ... and/or the MUCH more expensive cousins from Junghans then this quartz watch from Junkers is a great value. It looks like a much more expensive piece, and at the moment is selling for between $230 and $300. Get this watch while you save for the Chronoscope!The only beef I have was with the supplier, who dropped the ball on their promised delivery date ... by about a week. Once I followed up about where my order was, the watch arrived about a week later, and a week late and with a customs fee owing to the FedEx guy. I suspected this would happen (the low price of the watch alerted me to the fact that the Canadian govt hadn't got their taste from the seller so no complaints, but bear that in mind Canadian purchasers .. Duty may be due depending on who you buy it from.

Eine sehr schöne Uhr im Bauhaus-Design. Auch das Armband aus schwarzem Leder macht einen edlen und hochwertigen Eindruck. Zu einem dunklen Anzug passt die Uhr hervorragend!Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I love the overall design of the watch, but the quality is really not as good as expected. the comments on the cover, or glass, or the crystal(whatever you call) are correct, it is very easy to scratch. I feel hesitated wearing it again because of that. If it is made of plastic, then it makes sense for that build quality.
