Dura-Trel, Inc. Windsor Arbor

I assembled this myself, and very quickly. It looks very nice. It has blown over in the wind a couple times already(before I secured to the ground). Even with the Dura-Trel Winford 4-ft. Vinyl Arbor Gate put on it still blew over. The steel anchors are kind of tricky because if you wait till it's assembled to use those, then you cannot really get them up into the legs anymore because the lattice work is in the way....I ended up just buying a couple pieces of Rebar to stick up into each post from the ground, so at least it shouldn't blow over anymore. And at least when it did blow over, there was never any damage to it!

Was not too bad to put together, I wish the diagrams of the parts had been more descriptive. But after I got them separated it was pretty easy. To make it a one person assemble a bottom spacing guide would help when you need to move it around by yourself to prevent damage. I made my own with a 1 by and the screw holes don't show. Did not use the anchors due to the hard rock in my area but it is strong enough anchored to the fence corner.

Superstorm Sandy had trashed my existing wood arbor but the trumpet vines that were growing through it had remained in tact. They have been growing for about ten years and were in good shape so I had a challenge of finding a replacement arbor that I could basically build around them without having to cut them back to the ground. After alot of research online, I found this arbor which seemed to fit the bill and it turned out to be a great choice. Although it took me a couple of days since I was not building it as per the spec, it went up around the existing vines which remained 100% in tact, it is sturdy and looks great.

We love this arbor! It was a challenge for us to put up, as we used the ground anchors. If you don't do that, it would be a breeze.

I had an issue with some of the parts not aligning and the customer service was fantastic. After assembly, this arbor is gorgeous! Much better quality that a previous arbor purchase at the same price.

It looks great. Very substantial. The old folks had a little trouble with the diections, but did better on the second one.

Great addition to our yard. Have received lots of compliments. Took my husband a couple days to install.
