Crystalites 12408 Acrylic Crochet Hook Gift Set

I wanted to try the Bates needles. The 4mm was broken when it arrived but others were ok. I will keep them because they are light and the larger hooks are fine.

These crochet hooks are very comfortable to use. Nicely fit in my hand. Helpful to have each size a different color. These are now my preferred hooks when crocheting.

I was expecting a little more substantial weight, but these will be donated to beginners.

Ok, so I bought these for a situation that had nothing to do with crocheting, so I can't speak in that regard. I purchased these in order to fix some buttons that came off the back if my sofa cushions. They backs are tufted from front through the back and if anyone sat down roughly in the right exact way, the string would pop off the other button and was a pain in a$$ to hook back together again. So I used this little tool to hook the string from the one button, pull it through the cushion out the back side and onto the back button. No headache! Sorry if non of this makes sense to anyone, LOL.

I purchased these after accompanying a friend to court & was not allowed to take in the hook I was using for my scarf. (size J ). I do not like using metal hooks & prefer the Clover ergonomic hook . (perhaps because I have large hands) I asked if the hook would be acceptable if it was transparent & they said that should be ok. These aren't as comfortable as the Clover, but are acceptable for me. I will only be using in situations where I must pass through security. These definitely are transparent.

I use these for working with bulky yarns like Lion Brand Homespun which kept splitting with aluminum hooks. I work slowly with them as they feel like they could break but have never had that happen and they get a lot of use over the years. I keep them in a glass on my work table and they add a decorative element to the room, esp. when the sun happens to shine on them. This is my second set and I bought them because the first set is old and I got worried that after 10 years they might be weaker and would suddenly break and I would be without. Lol.

I just wanted to try the Bates style of hook to see if I liked them, and these were perfect for that. The only bad news is that I loved them and I now want a metal set haha! They are pretty sturdy. A little bend is inevitable with how thin the smallest ones are, but they seem to hold up pretty well!

I love Susan Bates metal hooks, so I thought I would try these. They are super lightweight, so I had to get used to them, but once I did I was flying through projects. Very smooth surface. Haven't had any yarn snags.

They make perfect mandala tools as the end is flat and makes nice round dots!

I have both clover armour and these and must say l actually prefer these and they are cheaper too

What can you say about a crochet hook! It does the job.

I purchased these crochet hooks to create 'dot art' on rocks. After several unsuccessful attempts with other 'tools', I immediately got the results I was looking for with this product. I also purchased the larger set with is just as great! With these as my tools, I can count on the results I am looking for. I highly recommend these!
