Rubie's Costume Women's Adult Mummy Costume

I ordered this before I had decided for sure if I wanted to be a mummy for Halloween, but once it arrived and I tried it on I was sold. It is very cute, and matches the image in the picture exactly. I am a size 8, and the top of the leggings is a bit tight, but not noticeably bad. The sleeves are cute, and although the dress IS short, its only as bad as any miniskirt, and it is made clear in the picture that its not a long dress.All in all, exactly what I expected to receive based on the description, and looks very cute on.

This is a costume, so I didn't expect it to fit like it was tailored. The gloves fit beautifully as does the headband, since you tie it in place. The dress was a bit loose (as exactly as short as pictured) and the thigh highs were also a bit loose. I wore a similarity styled top underneath (with a neck strap) and pinned the dress to the top. I used a garter belt to hold up the thigh highs, which worked perfectly. Along with some Egyptian accessiries, it makes for a fun costume. My husband loves it!

I ordered this costume due to the fact I'm on crutches with a broken ankle for halloween and being a mummy seemed appropriate. First thing I noticed was that the colour and texture of the costume differed from the picture. It still looks fine, however doesn't look as "mummy-like". It is more white and frilly. Try dusting some parts with bronzer. The accessories are all good and fit comfortably and really make the costume. I read some reviews before ordering and saw that the dress was really short, but went ahead anyway since I don't mind wearing shorts as well and making it into a shirt. I am 5'4 with an athletic build and this did not cover by butt at all. If you're short it may fit fine, if not plan on wearing shorts for sure. I actually like the look of the costume with shorts better than as a dress. Also, the dress isn't super clingy, but it will show your problem areas a bit, so if you are self-conscious of your stomach region this is not a great costume for you. Overall since the costume is not overly expensive, I'd say it is a pretty good way to go if you want a simple cute costume.

The costume was of better quality than I expected. I was thinking it was going to be made of a flimsy, easily ripped material however it is very substantial. I am a size 4-6 and it fits pretty well. Not too big or small. The dress is typical of short dresses in that the hem rides up making the already short dress even shorter and unless you want to keep tugging it down you're going to have to get something to wear under.

I ordered this costume for my upcoming Halloween party. Now it's two days away, and I don't have a costume! Partial faulty planning on my part, but when I order something and pay $40, I expect to get what I ordered. It came with all the pieces and the shipping was on time, I'll give it that. But this costume looks nothing like the picture. I really wish I could write a good review. The costume looks more like I got into a fight with a cat rather than 'wrapped' like a mummy. The dress is short, but I expected that based on other reviews. I figured that would be okay and prepared for that by buying spanx. But this isn't even the right costume! I'm so disappointed.

I wasn't very happy with this purchase considering the actual costume looks nothing like the costume in the picture. The fabric underneath is supposed to be nude colored, but instead its a light brown, then the "bandages" do not look like bandages, they look like floss. It was not at all what I wanted so I had to sew actually strips of bedsheets onto the costume itself to look even a little like the picture. I would not recommend this product.

Great costume. This costume was omfortable to wear simple and sexy. I had many compliments, just add a little make up. The shipping was overnight so it got to me in pleanty of time. Five star all the way.

Habe dieses Kostüm für eine Halloween-Party gekauft und es war sofort erkennbar, dass mein Kostüm eine Mumie darstellt. Der Stoff ist angenehm und kratzt nicht. Einzig gestört hat, dass das Kleid doch sehr kurz ist, was ich aber kaschiert habe, indem ich eine schwarze Leggins darunter getragen habe. Zusammen mit schwarzen Schuhen hat das Gesamtbild sehr beeindruckt.

Dress, armlets, leg warmers, neck & head bandage. For the price its not a bad costume but I had hoped the dress looked more like bandages. It is really short as other reviewers had said. I'm 5 ft & it does cover my bum and if I pull the leg warmers right up, everything is more or less hidden away. You would definitely be showing some flesh on s taller person I got the outfit mainly for the arm and leg warmers to wear with another Halloween costume. Dress is made of stretchy material with nude colour lining.
