Maximum Overdrive [Blu-ray]

What a fun movie! Emilio Estevez and crew take on a fleet of maniacal 18 wheelers set to the tunes of AC/DC. Great time indeed!

This is a childhood favorite of mines and I’mhappy there’s a blu ray release of it! Slip cover is nice too.

Was expecting it to come with the collectors slip cover but it didn’t. Otherwise, good buy. One of my favorites.

A marvelous and yet vastly underrated gem.This film is one of the more "fun" flicks to be released in the 80's. As a vehicle ( all pun intended) for Stephen King's storytelling it shows it's larger than life attributes in the form of killer machines and a most splendid cast of actors who give real credibility to a very outlandish idea.The special edition is superb. The interviews are quite splendid and truly give you an insiders view into the making of this genre spectacle. The remaster of the original print is outstanding and the sound is exquisite with a special nod going to the growl-hiss of the machines when they are less than happy. I like Emilio in just about everything he does (Repo-Man being a perfect example). He pulls off the bad-boy-anti-hero quite well with his portrayal of a man with street smarts and a healthy dose of the southern gentlemen-ish added for flavor.Overall a grand time is to be had with this piece of horror/ sci-fi cinema.....grab some nuked corn, put your foot on the gas and prepare for a great ride!

This movie is just as weirdly entertaining as I remember. I couldn't resist adding it to my collection. My husband had never seen it before. The Blu Ray quality is excellent on both TV and laptop. No playback issues. The slip cover is a nice bonus.

Maximum Overdrive is an amazing movie from the 80’s, the price was a little high but it’s very worth it to me! Highly recommend!
