Not Ateco, Good Substitute So Far
This decorating tip is not stamped as genuine Ateco. Minus one star for not being able to predict its longevity. However, it's a standard tip in all other respects, and I found the 00 size extremely useful while decorating my most recent batch of cookies. It's fantastic for extremely fine details, and I am pleased with it so far. I only hope it doesn't rust!ETA: July 2014; Still using this tip, still no issues with rusting. If you need a very fine tip, this will probably do the job. Can't attest as to size comparison with a #1 tip of any brand, as I don't yet own that size.

Best I can tell looking at the Ateco '00', it is in between the Wilton #1 and #2. I like it a lot for filling and outline edges or Dams.

I didn't find this significantly different than ateco size 1 tip. Maybe if you are someone who does a lot of really really intricate work you might, but for piping strings on guitar sugar cookies, I couldn't tell a difference.
