Now, I know it is JUST a flashlight, but as I had bought it as a gift, I was expecting it to be NEW. This one appears to have been used, possibly dropped or otherwise. Either way, it is not something that I am comfortable giving as a gift.I opened this package up with the expectation that I would be getting what I paid for, which was listed as a NEW flashlight. After examining the contents (Carrying case, 18500 Battery, Battery Charger and Flashlight), I decided to open up the flashlight and take the AA battery holder out to make sure that it was in place. Closer examination of the flashlight reveals several scratches on the head of the flashlight.UPDATE: After I posted this review, the seller reached out to me and offered me a replacement flashlight, free of charge. I was told that I could keep the original order as well, although I had already sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Either way, I decided to take them up on their offer and let the send me another flashlight. It DID NOT disappoint. It seems to be a great flashlight, and I use it almost every morning at work. I had already purchased another flashlight somewhere else, so I now have 2 great flashlights. Many mornings, I just reach into my toolbag, and I am not even sure which flashlight it is that I am using. They are both of great quality, both are sturdy, and both pack a lot of light into a very small package.Overall, if this is the type of light that you are looking for, and it is in the price range of what you are looking for, you WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. The seller stands behind their product 100%, and I think that you would be happy owning one of these.

It's a great value for the cost, definitely very bright for the size, I was happily surprised. It's not that heavy, def doesn't have the solid feel of the larger more expensive units but that's all relative to the cost. I am using this as a very occasional security light next to my bed and when power out. I would say that if you were going to use this everyday you might want something a little more solid, the next step up in the $25 to $45 range. Otherwise, very happy about the flashlight.

Really nice light for the price. I charged it up and used it over the weekend, it is very bright! It is great that you can focus the beam as well and comes with a nice case. It is great that it can run on the rechargeable battery or regular batteries as well.

This flashlight lights up my whole backyard, it is small enough to use for my walks. I love that it can be adjusted to spotlight or cover an area. I actually just ordered another so there is always one handy.

Great Flashlight, extremely bright. The only problem is there were no instructions. I didn't know how long to charge rechargeable battery or any of the flashlight features.
