Bedtop slides left and right
The only border is in the middle on the left and right and it's super short so the top and bottom of the mattress slide back and forth creating a dangerous situation and it could collapse probably so I would advise some sort of way too secure along the left and right of the bottom or top sides at least so that it does not move. This bed is made for a different different kind of configurations like Queen fall twin XL and twin so it's somewhat understandable why there might be less guards but I think in this case there could have been added some top and bottom guides to that those same metal pieces regardless of if you're using a shorter or a longer mattress to have those metal guards at least for the regular twin size and if you have a twin XL that would be adequate protection.

Bought To Go Along With T&N Box Foundation
This Bed Frame is very sturdy. I'm impressed with that. It sits at 6 inches from the floor, so if you're looking for under-the-bed storage, look elsewhere. I'm more than a little perplexed and disappointed that this frame is still TOO BIG to fit the Box Foundation, which just makes it slide back and forth on the frame. Why on earth would you call this a "full sized" frame when it doesn't hold the "full sized" box foundation tightly to the frame like it should? This was my entire reason for buying this frame and Box Foundation. I wanted it all to fit correctly and tightly so I wouldn't have the problem of it all sliding around. In this respect, the frame fails, and my reason for a 3-star rating.

No problems
Easy to assemble; low height is good for box spring and mattress; headboard attaches without a hitch; no squeaking issues - it’s quite. The only issue is that the box spring sits on top of the frame and so there’s just a few places that help to keep the mattress in place. This, however, hasn’t been a problem for my teenager.

Awesome
Arrived quickly. Just follow the assembly instructions and set up is a breeze. Allow about an hour to assemble. This frame is sturdy. I have no qualms about this product.

Sturdy, well-built at a fair price
I used the full metal base frame from Tufts & Needle to go with the T&N full mattress and foundation. The frame is sturdy and supportive. The frame arrived disassembled in a tall, and very heavy, box. It is fairly easy to put together but it is best to have two people. However, the pictures on the instructions could be labeled more clearly. Good price point. Have been sleeping on it for about a month and am happy with it... No rocking, slipping, or squeaking! The only con is that my existing older full headboard doesn't line up with the holes in the frame. Will have to use an extender.

Easy to put together
The frame is so easy to put together — like really easy — but i made the mistake of thinking it could be used without boxsprings. The tuft & needle matress (i got a king size) sort of sinks into the middle spots when you lay down. I love a soft mattress and am making it work until i can get a boxspring— but perhaps some slats in the middle would prevent this? Overall very happy. Putting it together was a breeze.
