Serves its function. Good build quality.
This is my first type of standing desk converter so I do not have a reference to make a comparison. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to make the purchase given its competitive price compared to other brands.I work a typical 8 hour office job as an engineer and am on the computer almost the entire time. I have been working for over 6 years in this type of environment and sitting down for a majority of that time has taken a toll on my neck and lower back. So after the damage had already been done, I decided to make an investment in a standing desk converter. The item arrived promptly via Amazon Prime without any issues. Set up was a piece of cake only requiring a phillips head screwdriver to screw in 6 screws for the keyboard dock.My desk setup is currently dual 24-inch monitors, a full size keyboard, and mouse (both wired). For my dual 24-inch monitors to fit on the 30-inch width desk, I have to angle the screen inward which is actually better ergonomically so I am not turning my head constantly to view my screens. The keyboard dock is a little narrow for a full size keyboard and mouse. A compact keyboard would be ideal as it allows to have enough room to place your working pad area for the mouse. To fix this problem, I angled my keyboard so it would leave about 30% of space on the edge for my mouse, which is perfect. The build quality is great and the movement is very smooth. The handle is in an easy to reach position so that the desk can be adjusted seamlessly without any issues. I noticed when adjusting, you need to put a little bit of muscle into it. I think this is kind of a good thing as it prevents you from adjusting the desk at an unstable speed which can possibly knock off your monitors or other objects if it moves with an abrupt force.I am so far very satisfied with this standing desk converter and within the first day of use, have already felt immediate improvement with how I feel over sitting down. I will probably be in the standing position for at least 80 percent of the time. If you are on the fence about this desk, I would definitely recommend it. My only gripe about it is its size; I wish it was a little wider for my setup. Other than that I think this is a solid item and would buy it again if I need another one.

Great value - works as well as the expensive brands
My wife has used a Kangaroo standing desk for a few years and it got me looking for one myself. I tried working on a table that was basically standing 100% of the time, but I still want to sit from time to time. I really couldn't justify the $500+ for the handful of major names out there, so I took a chance on this model. The main selling points for me were that it was sized in a way that would leave me with a fair amount of extra desk space but be big enough to fit my computer setup. For reference, I have a 28" monitor. I don't really use my laptop as a 2nd screen, but for convenience sake it's great that it fits as well (it's a 13" btw).So far I've used this full-time for a week and have no complaints. I work from home and would say I've been standing about 60% of the time thus far. I love it during long conference calls where I get antsy sitting the whole time. Same goes for when I have a tedious project to work on, standing makes me feel less sluggish. I know plenty of people believe there's health risks for sitting, I'm not a firm believer in that, but from a purely mental standpoint I think it's great to get out of a chair. There's a lever on the right side that unlocks the raise/lower of the desk and the piston makes it pretty easy to move (like the hood of a car). I'm 6'2" and raised all the way up this is a comfortable height for me. I think I may want a very small monitor stand as my screen doesn't have a height adjustment. But like 3" higher would be perfect. While in the sitting position, the keyboard tray does mean your keyboard/mouse will be higher off your desktop as with any of these units. That's no issue for me, but shorter people may need to make sure their chair can go up a notch. All and all quite happy, but thrilled with the price.

Bought Used- Like new
I bought this used in good condition for $98. After my coworker got a $400 Varidesk I had to have one. And let me tell you; this is better than the Varidesk! It comes straight up in a much smoother motion, whereas the Varidesk comes out at an angle and pops up. Also the Varidesk has 2 handles to lift and this one only has one. It’s great and compact! Also layout for keyboard and monitors is better than the Varidesk. I bought it used and the desk came in great condition (the box not so much). Also make sure you have a screwdriver to click the keyboard slot in (I didn’t and used a letter opener, still haven’t actually fixed that now that I’m thinking about it)

Feels very sturdy; easy assembly
So, I thought working from home was going to be temporary...apparently not, so I had to invest in a standing desk for my home office. Last year my company provided a standing desk for my office due to problems with my neck and hips from sitting all day. My standing desk at work doesn't adjust so I can tell you from using this desk in one afternoon, I'm going to love this feature! The desk was pretty simple to put together. The only thing you need to do is attach the brackets to the keyboard and then the keyboard to the desk. Easy. It took some heavy pushing to get the desk to lower but I managed. I'm "vertically challenged" (5'1") so I don't have the height advantage to bear down that easy. However, this tells me that the unit is sturdy and the raising/lowering mechanism is strong. I bought this to stand more than sit so I expect it will be used raised most of the time.I also have enough room for my dual screens. I was somewhat worried about this but they fit fine. I'm waiting for my keyboard and mouse to arrive.I've attached two photos; one with the desk raised and the other lowered. I've sat and stood at my desk and both feel comfortable. I think I'm really going to enjoy this desk.
