Our Schnauzers love these. We bought two, but they prefer to leave one unchewed and fight over the other. Our female will let the male chew on it until it has a "point" and then she will take over and fight him for it. (Sibling fighting, not serious fighting. He gives in and lets her have it, even though he's the alpha.)These can be microwaved until they puff up, after they get it down to an end nub. I suggest soaking it in water for about 5 min first and then taking it out of the microwave right after it puffs up. I messed up and left it in too long. (About a minute. 30-45 seconds would have been plenty.) It started smoking and burned in the middle. It had to be thrown away and made the whole house stink. Anyway, just watch it in the microwave and remove it right after it puffs up.I willl be buying more of these because our dogs love them so much.

I ordered a large one because I was scared the smaller ones would be swallowed… When I got this one in the mail it was broken.I only gave her the bigger piece and she was through the entire thing in about 15 minutes… The other piece went in the trash because I was scared she would choke.I got the big ones and paid more to insure they were large enough… It came broken… And I got these in hopes they would last and the piece I gave her was gone in 15 minutes

This is the second time ordering these. My dog LOVES them!! I will continue to order from this company. A happy dog loves here, with these dog chews. They do still smell like smoked cheese, but they are.

I bought 2 of these. One xl for my 8 year old 64 pound golden retriever. And the L for my 8 month old 40 pound golden retriever. The large one came broken Into three pieces. My dogs fought over that one. I had to reintroduce the big chew to the big dog. And now they are fighting over the big one. I’m glad they seem interested as I’ve read they are supposed to last a Long time. But I’m super disappointed that The large she was not one solid piece.I can’t comment on the longevity yet. But my puppy seemed really into it.

Iwas disappointed with Snow Hill Yak cheese as I have purchased other brands that lasted much longer and had a different consistency. Snow Hill had a harder texture and revealed sharp edges and small shards during chewing. I gave this to my dog went in the house 5 minutes, and my dog and finished it in 5 min. except for 2 pieces , each having a sharp hard edge. It is not worth 8 or nine dollars.

I'd rather spend a few more dollars and pick out at pet store. My dog was obsessed with these. He is a puppy and is clumsy. Every single one broke in half from him dropping on tile/hardwood.UPDATE. Company contacted me and sent me a replacement free of charge. I was impressed with them reaching out and trying to correct issue. So far so good bone still in one piece.
