Autofill Came on Auomatically, Started to Auto-fill the Floor
I had just filled a glass with water, walked away, and I heard the sound of water pouring unto the floor. The 'Autofill' light was on and water was being dispensed. I pressed it and the deluge stopped. I had about 1/2 gallon of water on the floor. This is a serious malfunction - if it happened overnight, it would have flooded the whole house. Does anyone know how to disable 'Autofill'?

Mostly good - and quite good for the price. Beware on delivery though.
We've only had it about a week, but my initial feedback is that it's generally good. I did not give it 5 stars for the following reasons: I feel it's occasionally a bit loud (when it's actively cooling?), and then the "auto fill" water thing is useless in my opinion. It doesn't always properly sense the size of your glass (I've had it fill the same exact glass to 3 different levels so far), and there's enough of a delay that I'm not sure the autofill is worth it vs. just holding your glass there and filling it up (especially on smaller glasses). Also, the one other complaint is that the shelves in the left side door (the one with the ice/water machine) are so shallow that they're almost useless. You can really only fit very small bottles or whatever in those (the top one is slightly deeper, but even still is pretty shallow - I can get a dijon mustard bottle in it, but nothing larger, and the two shelves below that top one won't even fit that).Last note: the company who supplies this on Amazon (ours at least, "1 Stop Appliances & Electric Center"), had an amazing price ($1000 less than Sears), however, they will at most deliver it to your door step or garage - they will NOT bring it inside or install it. This is critical to know, given the fridge weighs 360 pounds in the box, and it's wide enough that for us, it only fit through our front door. We were able to have it installed by the appliance folks who built our house, and two guys used appliance harnesses/belts to get it into the house, but it's a pretty serious thing to move around (this is not specific so much to this refrigerator, but more to purchasing it via Amazon and so on).

Warm water from dispenser
We've only had this refrigerator for 3 days. We threw out the first two batches of ice. We ran the water filter for 5 minutes. I thought all was good. After all, I love the look. I like that the front is magnetic. The sides are black. It's really nice to look at. The refrigerate cools inside well as does the freezer. BUT it only dispenses about 8-10oz of cold water in a 30-minute window. I thought it was because it was making new ice. Nope. One person fills their cup with cold water, and the next person gets lukewarm water. WTH. I fill up a 32oz yeti and 22oz of it is lukewarm. I get colder water from my faucet and would totally drink that if our water didn't taste bad. So if you are not a fan of ice water and want cold water from your fridge, look elsewhere. As strange as it seems, this is a deal-breaker since I only drink water or coffee.

Huge Ripoff
This refrigerator is OK. For $3000 does not compare to other brands. The problem arises with this fridge and unfortunately ALL GE fridges with their water filters. They install a cheap charcoal filter and state you need to replace it every 6 months. This is 100% untrue. Read forums online and you will see everyone gets 4 months or less and me here in the Southwest am getting just over 2 months. NOW THE KICKER- you can only use GE own brand filters at $50/each. They install a radio chip so if you install another brand filter you get warnings on your fridge. So I guess your stuck paying an extra $300/year privlige to own GE fridge.

Poor reliability
Needs service way too often. The third water valve has failed since I purchased 2 and a half years ago. There is a severe design flaw in the water valve. This model refrigerator also starts limiting the water flow rate once the filter is expired which is a major irritant. You also need to purchase expensive GE filters every 6 months, another $100 yearly expense.
