I really hope Berghaus continue to make these tops. I have 4 and wear them in rotation. The neckline is not scratchy, it’s high enough to go underneath all other tops but low enough that it doesn’t feel constricting. I am generally quite a warm person, so for me they are the perfect base layer. And they wash and dry really well with no need to iron. They have made all my other base layers redundant.

I really wanted to like this as it's a nice top and looks a bit more like a normal top than a performance base layer, which makes it quite versatile. The fabric sits well and I liked the lack of labels.However, as a short slightly tubby person, I found the sleeves way too long - they came to the tips of my fingers! And unfortunately it just didn't look great with them folded up so I had to return it.So, maybe one better suited to the taller folks!

I have loads of Berghaus kit for hill walking in all weather conditions - brilliant products that are technologically designed to keep you warm or keep you cool. Highly recommended.

excellent top works brilliantly in the hot and cold we use them when riding our motorcycle. only downside is it plucks easily

I don't know where the other reviews come from because this is the worst base layer I have ever bought. Nasty clinging and anything but warm
