Even More Beautiful in Person
Couch was a beautifully rich blue/green that goes so well with my vision for the living room. It seems very sturdy, and even my skeptical boyfriend commented how it seemed like a well-made piece of furniture. It’s going to last y’all! It is super firm and has no chill when it comes to give but my hope is over time it will. This doesn’t bother me or mine as I’m good with firm. Don’t want guests getting TOO comfortable!!! 😂 So glad I purchased this beautiful mid-century feeling loveseat. Pairs well with single leather chairs.

How to make this beautiful sofa comfortable
This sofa looks as great as it's pictures and really completes my room with that Mid-Century Modern aesthetic. Unfortunately, the sofa is horribly uncomfortable. I mean it is like, unusably uncomfortable. But I look at this sofa and man it really is beautiful, so I figured I could fix the comfort side of things and have a solid comfortable sofa that fits my aesthetic. I have split this review into a few sections. Here we go:Why it is uncomfortable: to start with the seating level (height from floor to top of cushion) measures a whopping 20"! You might ask, is that a big deal? I will tell you - it is a big F#*! deal. To compare most sofas are 17 to 18 inches tall. You might also ask "Well, doesn't the foam cushion sink down a few inches when you sit on it? No! No, it doesn't. It doesn't move. It is softer than wood but has about the same give. I plan on cutting mine into fist size pieces and making stress balls out of it. .... So you sit down and you are 20" off the ground, now it gets really fun, or dumb, or just poorly designed. The seat cushion is 24" deep and meets the back support at a right angle. This means that if you were to sit down and scoot all the way back, first you will appear to be in an uncomfortable position (you are) second the position you are in will make you want to lift your legs higher, but guess what. you can't. Do you want to know why? Because you f#@! feet don't touch the floor. I am of average height (5'10") and my feet do not touch the floor when sitting all the way back on this torcher couch. So what do you do now?You have the couch/sofa of your aesthetic dreams but you can't sit on it without losing your mind. Go back to Amazon (or whatever) and start looking for some throw pillows. You're going to need a lot of them. Get some 20x20 some 16x16 and some 12x20 pillows. At least two of each. Next, do a search for "memory foam for cushions high density" and pick something at least 80' long and 24" wide. I would recommend 5" thick. Look for this number in the description 44ILD Firm. Don't be scared by the "Firm" description, it is nice and soft. Also, get some Upholstery Batting to fill in the last inch and make the new cushions fill out the covers. BTW the cushion covers and upholstery are really well constructed and have a 3.5-star feel. You will also need a utility blade or razor blade to cut the foam. Don't use scissors ... just trust me, the razor is way easier. Now cut the foam to fit, cover the foam with the batting and shove them into the cushion covers. Scatter the pillows around and have a much-deserved seat. Is it comfortable? Well, it is way better than is was and only cost about $100 - $150 in supplies. Not bad!Okay, now for the real deal. This is going to get a little hard so if your happy at this point, just stop reading. I am (as you may have guessed) still not as comfortable as I want to be on this beauty yet. The next step for me will be to flip the sofa over and remove the feet. I think you might know where I am heading with this. First, do you have a compound miter saw? I do. I also like to fix and build things so this might not be for everyone. On the flip side if you were looking for a good reason to buy a compound miter saw, well now you have one. The plan is to take about an inch off of each foot. (the sofa is still too high) I am going to set up a jig to help make each cut the same. I have not finished this part yet, I plan to do it this week and will update the review. On the plus side, the foot construction for the sofa is a quality design in that they are all identical. Cool, right! Okay, more to come...To sum this up:5 stars for the aesthetic look (mid-century modern) I love how this sofa looks. Just a beaut Clark.1 star for comfort. Truly unusably torturously uncomfortable. (this is not a joke, you will be disappointed)3.5 stars for the overall construction. The quality construction was the reason I decided to augment this sofa into a usable piece of furniture/art instead of returning it.So, if you don't want to fix a brand new purchase to make it usable DON'T buy this sofa. If like me the $750 price tag and the gorgeous mid-century aesthetic are what interested you and you are good at fixing stuff then pull the trigger now. You have your next project and a reason to buy that compound miter saw you have been thinking about. Plus throw pillows are really fun. I mean pillow fights are just the beginning. You can get all kinds of covers for them. You can get a print of your favorite animal, or person, or whatever on a custom "magic" pillow. You can make a theme sofa like Star Wars or a holiday sofa full of autumnal images. Do you like the beach? You can cover all those pillows in shells and sea-horses. The options are limitless. I think there is even an AI that combines the most searched images into an algorithm and prints custom covers. Roll the dice y'all. But here's the thing, you are going to need throw pillows, lots of them. Peace.-EchoArk

So cute! Very firm back
overall, I really love the couch. I live alone in a studio, so for just me or one other person to lay and spread out on, it is perfect. It is a very firm couch, but not where you would think. The seat is comfortable, firm but good cushion. Its the back that is really really hard. I still love the couch, but you really need pillows to make it comfortable for your back. And even then, I'd say laying on the couch, or having your legs tucked is the only way to be comfy on it. Sitting on it normally, even with cushions, is not comfortable. Yet, I still love it. Easy install, only thing you need to do is put the legs on. Fit through the doorway, and just looks really nice.

The couch is lovely but…
I love the couch. It is easy to assemble, perfect in every way but Amazon won’t let me leave a fair review of their sorry delivery service. The delivery people came and just dropped the package off with the concierge downstairs. They were supposed to deliver in-home and unpack and set up but did not do so. The link to leave feedback in delivery service in my messages are linked to another purchase I made. They obviously don’t want to get called out for poor service!!!! Again, the couch is perfection. Amazon delivery service sucked! I had to bring the couch up. It took me 45 using a service elevator!!!

Stunning!
We got the sunny yellow color, and it looks just perfect with our mcm decor. It’s a good size and the legs are solid wood.

Updating review
I previously rated the seller lower due to not receiving the item. It had gotten lost and eventually it got delivered. I was already in the process for refund due to not knowing what happened to the package. However, after a few weeks it got here. The rep was very communicative. I felt bad since he did appear to worry about what happened to my order. I would suggest their shipping be a bit more traceable for the buyer as well since they had issues finding it themselves after they shipped inhouse. The seat is beautiful, worked great for our home theme. It definitely is a whole lot firmer than expected. If you're looking for comfort it is not. However, since this is for our formal living area, it works since we don't want visitors to sleep on it. It is more for show than comfort, but it does look good.

Couch is great, shipping on the other hand
Nothing is wrong with the couch it is beautiful alittle hard but should easily break in. Keep in mind when you order Amazon is lying through their teeth when they give you a delivery date bc they don't know when it will be delivered it is all a good guess and a customer service representative for Amazon confirmed it. Bought on the 4th or 7th and was given an "expected" by date of Aug. 17th it is the 29th and was finally delivered today. Trying to get in contact with the second of two delivery companies was pain stakingly time consuming. It was over all a horrible process and felt lied too, like being a few days off would be fine but to be 12 days off? And it just sat at the second delivery company from the 18th to the 29th before being delivered.

Beautiful but taller than the description, no hardware for the ottoman
The couch is beautiful. The dimensions are wrong in the description. The couch is actually 34" tall, not 32". Makes a difference for a short person and for an actual 1960's home as it is taller than the rest of the furniture. Other than that, I love it. It is nap worthy. The ottoman is also beautiful but I sent it back once for broken frame. The second time it arrived there was no hardware to assemble. I am going to match the couch hardware at the hardware store. Appears to be an assembly problem for the ottoman in general.

Stylish, firm, and gorgeous but a problem leg..
I bought this chair a year ago. I do really like it but keep in mind, it is large and it is firm to sit on. The cushion and the linen like fabric has maintained its shape, quality, and firmness after a year, and the luscious colour is just as glorious today as a year ago. It was easy to put the legs on - but, like one other reviewer remarked, the hole drilled on the front left side of the chair is off kilter and is stripped or something because the leg will not screw into it at a proper angle and now the leg keeps falling off. I'm going to just glue it in place. Also, when I first unpacked the chair there were some sharp upholstery staples sticking out on the side - watch out for that. I used pliers to pull them out and that was fine. I love the style and colour especially for the price. But because of the ill-fitting leg, I couldn't give it more than 3 stars.

Sturdy, and light
I've seen this same couch go for $2G, so if you see it for less get it. Yes, the cushions are hard but also hardy. I've fallen asleep on it more times on it than I can count, and it's never been too hard. Very happy with this purchase.

Buying sight unseen was a gamble it paid off.
Though the delivery estimate was way off, the sofa was worth the wait.
