Simons Laurens Baby Babu: 16" Collectible Orangutan Baby Doll by Ashton Drake

This doll is very high quality and has very cute features. The skin is a soft rubber and you can press it with your fingers, which is satisfying. The body is made of cloth, while the limbs are hard but somewhat bendable. The hair is great and very well applied, but I gave mine a haircut because the hair was a little long for my taste. What I didn't like was the the doll is very narrow. The height was about what I expected, but I was hoping for a more substantial doll with a wider body and face. This little guy is very narrow and it makes him feel disappointingly small.

this orangutan looks and smell so real, it looks and feels better than any of my real nephews.I'm 51yrs old and he's my pride and joy! i feel proud holding my baby orangutan when i'm lonely, besidesmy real 14yrs old son while in school.

I purchased this for my Mom as a gift and she loves it. It makes her laugh looking at the baby's facial expression. On inspection the quality looks pretty good it had a little too much hair placed on top of the head in my opinion but the rest of the doll looks really good. Both myself as the purchaser and my Mom as the owner were very pleased with it. I wouldn't recommend it as a toy for kids but as an adult collectable it really is very nice.

I would have given it a 5 star but the customer service was HORRIBLE when I called about it the person I talked to did not even speak english so my concern was not even addressed because not only did I not understand her but she could not understand me and it was the absolute worst customer service and it is not posed anything like this one in the picture, that back of the head looks like the hair was glued and smashed on it. I just really don't understand why the pose is so different
