Fair trade Whiskey Tumbler Pewter Elephant C-01-P

I bought this glass as an anniversary present as the theme for 14 years is Ivory, elephants being the closest I can get to that. It is really nicely packaged, with everything being recyclable. There is a lovely note inside which tells you what the glass was recycled from and the name of the person who actually made it, as well as a bit of information on the company which I thought that was a lovey touch. The glass itself is made from 100% recycled glass, it has a lovely heavy base and nice pewter elephant design, it is quite small but the perfect size for a single malt whiskey. Love that it is fair trade too.

It arrived quickly and on time. Love the metall details, they are such a nice touch. Bought them for my Dad who has been to Africa many times and loves the animals there. The glasses are RELATIVELY SMALL but in every way LARGE ENOUGH for whiskey! Heavy base which was a really nice surprise, the base does have a bit of a GREEN glow though, one can tell that it is from recycled glass but I quite liked it and it is barely noticeable (can only be seen in sunlight). Obviously this is a handmade object and one can tell that both from the metall (there can be slight deviations but mine were perfect), as well as there being bubbles in the glass etc. I however found this super charming! SO HAPPY with the glasses and I know my Dad will be too. Also, I think it's a really nice cause. The wrapping paper in the box is also recycled as well as you getting a little note saying what they recycled it from + who actually made the glass. The worker signs a note that tells you about the organisation etc. LOVE IT!!
