The filter isn't very flexible - the plastic is rigid and it isn't dense enough to catch fine particles. Good for filtering twigs and leaves but not to filter the muck in the pond.

Filter for Koi
This filter is one rough tough product. It collected all the floating crap in our pond and has improved our fishes happiness. IF they can breath and have fresh clean water they thrive.
