I've used this fishing vest for years. Having all your gear handy, especially when wading, is essential. This lightweight vest stays cool all day and has a ton of room for gear. And it keeps the gear secure in very deep water so you aren't watching tackle float away when you're in up to your neck! Highly recommend spending a little extra for this vest.

Nice well made, good quality vest. Material isn't scratchy. Vest fits nice and is lightweight. Plenty of pockets. Zippers are good quality. My only real issue is the vest has a display for fishing license but it's not big enough to clearly display it.

This vest is very well made with the exception of the tiny, plastic snap that holds the vest together. The hardware is seems very flimsy and is finicky to operate. Too bad, because all of the other zipper, snaps, and pockets are top notch. The material is also light and sturdy, I especially love the soft athletic trip around the neck.Sizing? 1 to 1.5 sizes too large. I'm not sure what their thinking with their sizing chart. I matched their suggested size to my measurement and I could literally fit my thigh in here with me....not that I'm that limber, but you get the picture. Theses vests are best when they're lightly fitted, but you don't want it flopping around either.I like the vest so much that I'm going to give the Medium to my dad, swap out the chest snap with something more sturdy, and buy another Small vest.

This is a very well made vest. I fish 4X a week. It dries quickly after getting wet. The pockets are perfect for holding my bait and small bait box. There are plenty of well placed hooks that I use to hang pliers and clippers from.

Great vest, I have worn a few times while trout fishing and really got it dirty one time. It washed-up great. The only complaint I have is that the fabric and plastic clasp used to secure the front is very small and not very secure at all and can fall off. Mine has fallen off a couple times now...I may have to try adding some stitching or something to hold it in place so it doesn't fall off.

Norm likes this vest for his swimming pool service work. It fits over his long sleeve white heatgear shirt so he can survive in the hot Austin summer. The pockets are large enough for things like; test kits, hose nozzle, radio, wallet, pens, notepad, knife, hand soap, etc. They are easily accessed with velcro and waterproof zippers. I knocked off one star because the buckle is small, weak, cheap, stupidly made, and we also didn't like it. This part was replaced with an ergonomic stainless steel cylindrical key link. One other small addition was a short lanyard on the right inner breast pocket so the wallet can be quickly drawn out.

I like the size weight and comfort, plenty of space but not too bulky

High quality, as expected by Columbia. Bought due to being voted best fly best in trout and salmon. Been used to all my kit in a bag, now it's all easy to access. Love it!
