Sound is good and installation was easy.

Sounded decent enough, but through no fault of the design, they didn’t fit my space because a prior owner messed up the holes trying to install a pair that were not compatible with my vehicle, I could only put two screws in them. I had a friend hold the ear that I couldn’t attach firm against the area frame of the where it would have screwed into had it not been ruined by the former owner, then turned it on. The sound was a little better, but nothing to stand out. I tried to see if it would still be effective with just the two screws, but when I put the cover over the speaker, it dropped down just enough to touch the plastic and vibrate. So the four stars I’m giving is based solely on what it sounded like compared to the speaker after market speaker that was previously installed, which was probably better than the factory to begin with. Had I been replacing a factory speaker with these, I’m sure the quality would be better than those. Comparing after market against another after market is a little more difficult.

I have ordered probably thousands of items on Amazon over the last 10+ years, and this is the first time I have been impressed enough to leave a review. I ordered 4 of these speakers (2 pairs) so to use them for the sound bar and dash. When the speakers arrived (a day early!) I was shocked to find a hand written note inside the box stating that they assumed I was going to install one pair in the dash so they also included the install instructions for the dash speakers as well as the sound bar. ( I didn't realize there is a separate kit for the dash speakers, the only difference is the dash speakers do not need the gaskets and different installation instructions). Talk about going the extra mile for customer service.... well done!!The speakers installed without a glitch, took about an hour total. I installed the sound bar pair first and took a listen and honestly was not overly impressed with their sound.... although it was better than the stock speakers, and I will admit I am somewhat picky with speakers and sound systems. Decided to go ahead and install the dash speakers. The drivers dash side is most difficult to install as others have stated, but WOW....... that did the trick!! When they were all 4 installed, sooo much better than the crappy stock speakers. You would need a powered sub if you want to "feel" the bass, but for the price and ease of installation, these produce very nice result.

I replaced all 4 speakers in my 2013 Wrangler because after I upgraded my head unit, it really exposed the terrible quality of the originals. Took me about 15 minutes to do the soundbar. The instructions were very easy to follow. They fit perfectly in the Jeep's speaker "pods" and the mounting tabs lined up pretty good too. Stock wire harness plugged right in. No install issues at all.These have so much more clarity and bass over the stock speakers, especially as the amp gets cranked. They sound better the louder you go, and the bass becomes more pronounced and defined. YMMV. I listen to mostly hard / prog rock and these definitely have some punch to them. I was actually shocked at how light weight and cheesy the stock speakers were when I pulled them out. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced upgrade.

I ordered these because my stock stereo needs to be cranked up to be loud (volume 33 out of 35) and the quality wasn’t good. I read all the reviews and thought they sounded convincing. First, I was surprised that the stock sound bar speakers weigh about 1/3 of what these weigh. These were very simple to install. Then I turned on the music. Wow! I can feel the bass thumping and I can’t really turn the music up much past 26 and wouldn’t want to. It sounds incredible. Buy these you won’t be sorry!

I’d like to say this is a great product. Not only are the speakers great quality but the customer service is even better!!! Not only did I order two sets but they both arrived much earlier then amazons perdition. They also put a diagram on each order showing you how to install them which seems self explanatory but is nice to have especially if your doing the dash speakers. They also give you a number to call and a thank you for your purchase. Wish all companies could be as great as this one. Definitely a buy again and recommend.

Descent for the money

Speakers arrived very quickly (much less than initial estimated delivery). They arrived well packaged with a hand-written note offering assistance if needed. That wasn't necessary - very simply to install. Literally took 5 minutes a speaker to replace. My 2015 Wrangler has components in the soundbar (i.e., a 6.5" wooder and 2.5" mid/tweeter). This replaced the woofer and since it's coaxial, I disconnected the factory tweeter. I'm not sure if that's the right move - have a question posted about this.HUGE improvement over the stock speakers. Very pleased. In fact, I had to balance the sound to the back a bit because I can't stand listening to my front speakers now ! Guess I'll have to order a replacement for those too :-)
