Installed this with a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB SSD in the expansion slot. It runs about 45 deg C which is about 15 deg hotter than the primary SSD with the factory heatsink.

Yes, with thermal pad and fixing tape.

Q: Are the rings made of rubber or silicone?
