Lion Brand Yarn (1 Skein) Vanna's Choice Yarn, Oatmeal

Note that even though it says 170 yards initially, if you look below, under the "About this Item" section, it says the length varies depending on color. I'm not sure who would want to guess which size skein they're buying, since generally a project requires a specific amount of yarn. I I bought the color Barley, just hoping that I would get the correct amount of yarn, but found it was only 145 yards per skein when I received it. Maybe the seller can take a picture of the labels for each color, being that each one is a different size? Now I'm short and have to buy another one. Also the color itself is not as warm brown as shown, at least on my monitor... The color is still nice, so thankfully I can use it. The photo I attached seems to be true to the actual color. I still gave it five stars since the yarn is soft and the product itself is okay.

I love the color of this yarn and the softness of it. As I was 1/4 of the way in with my project, I noticed a knot. It was annoying, but I was able to incorporate it without really noticing thankfully. I’m fairly new to crocheting so I don’t know if knots are a common occurrence, but I have another skein of yarn I’ve been using from this brand and haven’t found any knots in that one so far. I also had to undo some of my work a couple of times and found the yarn was splitting, but I just powered through that part until it was back to normal. Either way, it has a solid amount of yardage so the value is there!

I needed one more skein of this color of Vanna's Choice in order to finish a large project that I've been working on for years. I'm now within a few days' work of completing it, and needed to be able to work on it during the long holiday weekend. Many sellers had this yarn/color backordered and would not be able to deliver it for a week or more, or only offered multi-packs when I didn't need that much, but this one came the next day and matches perfectly! The yarn was priced a little higher for this single skein than the other sellers, but shipping was free and immediate, so for me it was worth it.In general, I've found Vanna's Choice a good yarn to work with. it is soft and pliable and just stretchy enough to be easy to work with, but the twist is a little loose, so it can split on you if you're not careful. It comes in a good range of colors that work together well. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how it holds up over time.

Exactly as described, nice colour Aran weight yarn, just what I wanted for my crochet project, the price was really expensive then what I normally would pay, however I needed it quickly as can next day, so thank you!

Not exactly the same colour as shown but I actually prefer the real colour, mine was slightly more dull and grey-brown. I always like using this brand of yarn so think it’s quite reliable for a nice yarn.
