The Ski Bible(s)
This is my 'go-to' series of books when planning a ski trip. Wonderfully detailed and honest, I've found them to be excellent for their tips on the ski-areas. I don't use them for hotel info (that is much easier to get online, as it is bang up to date), but for tips like which part of the town to stay in, they are great. Lovely photos, accurate observations on things like quality of the lift systems and snow quality. Definitely recommended.

worth buying
I've got the books for all countries. I've found them all to be very useful . So far I've found them to be accurate (8 ski hols in 8 resorts & 2 countries)

Not a patch on the older versions
Nowhere near as comprehensive as the old 2006 version that I have. Even though this version is 12 years newer, I'll go back to the old one instead. There are more resorts covered in the old version, particularly the smaller ones. If you are looking for information on something other than the large resorts, all you find is a couple of lines on the back (if that). If you have an older copy, then don't waste your money on this.

The Bible for skiing in France :-)
Where to Ski in France is (along with the other country editions) an almost unique book. Iβve never found anything even as close for breath of information across such a broad range of resorts. For Β£11.99 itβs a bargain!
