Great Sounding Amplifier!
Great amplifier! I'm using it in bridge mode to drive a large subwoofer (1200 watts rms at 8 ohms) and it has no problem keeping cool or with clipping. There is still plenty of headroom left in bridge mode. I used it in stereo mode to test it out right away with two loudspeakers (500 watts rms each at 8 ohms) and drove them pretty well, even though the amp comes in at 400 rms per channel at 8 ohms. No complaints, just know how deep this amp is, because I had to modify the back of my rack slightly for this to fit. All in all, I will buy again if needed! It would be nice if the fan were thermostatic, but it's not overly loud. I would compare this to a Crown XLS 2502, just a little simpler...and half the price!

Nice amp for a little bit of $$
Nice amp for a little bit of $$. Using in bridge mode to drive an 18” folded horn subwoofer. dbx Subharmonic Synthesizer in system. Have yet to clip amp. Very happy. Fan noise is on the loud side, but that’s to be expected on the pro side. Had this amp and my Behringer 4000 on the same sequencer outlet. Wasn’t smart. These puppies are current hungry at startup. If you are shopping for a low cost powerful amp this machine is a no brainer. I’m going to buy it’s more powerful sibling. High recommend!

it has power for sure!
this amp has the power I needed to drive a 1250 watt RMS Subwoofer, I have it in bridge mode @ 2 Ohms. I have cranked it up and it sure moves the sub without any distortion and no clipping...I highly recommend a preamp if hooking it up to a computer though. the only issue I had is the fan is on the louder side than I liked but replacing the fan did the trick for me so now it is nice and quiet. when It comes to these amps, you need a preamp to get the power out of these amps, this thing is a monster for sure

Great design, but false power rating.
Nice amp, works great, but the power rating of 6500w is in reality more like 650w.

This amp is nothing but the truth.
I have spent hundreds of dollars more on other amps and gotten far less quality and power than this amp provides. This amp is the real deal and well worth the price that it cost. I am so impressed with my EMB 6500 that I am thinking of purchasing the EMB 7500.

Great amp!
Been using this amp for a couple years now and it’s held up great! Very powerful, a little heavy, but very road worthy and dependable!
