Roma (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]

Roma is a great film. Really captures a feeling of the wonderfully infuriating city that’s impossible to forget, and which always beckons for return visits, city and film.Full-on Fellini, dialled up to 11. View it before or after visiting Rome. Sorrentino’s The Great Beauty has almost nothing on it. For a counterbalancing ode to Rome, see Moretti’s Dear Diary ( Caro Diario).I wanted a Blu Ray copy of Roma, but this German issue has no English subtitles, so no good for me.
