These are nice towels but I am deducting a star because they come with holes where they were tag gunned together. The holes are very noticeable

Used for embroidery designs.

I normally do not leave reviews. The pack of 6 that i bought looked great. The color was not as bright white that I wanted. Unfortunately, the plastic tags they use to keep the towels together made noticeable holes in each towel. I wouldn't recommend these towels for any type of craft.

I needed some thinner towels, rather then terry cloth.these worked great, but i only needed 2, so i cut the other ones in half and hemmed them for napkins.

I bought these towels thinking they would be good to emborder on for gifts, They are a lot thinner than what i expected. I washed them to make sure they were true size and WOW they wrinkled so bad. Just caution to these two things i feel are problems for me.

I purchased these to make friends, tea towels with iron on transfers. These are the only towels where the transfer actually stuck! Great quality, thick.

Beautiful, durable, vintage-type cotton towels -- absolutely perfect for my needs. I purchased these towels to hand embroider designs onto them and then give them as treasured gifts. Prior to working with them, I pre-washed and dried them. There was almost no shrinkage; in fact, towels came ever so slightly larger than the stated size to accommodate any shrinkage. Prior to my purchase, I asked the online community a question-I asked if it would be possible to create a self-fringe on one end of the towel. The answer given to me was yes and YES is absolutely correct (towels come with a stitched 1/4 inch doubled hem all sides). To do this, I seam-ripped the stitched hem on one (short) side, pressed the new edge flat, machine stitched a double layer of stitching about 1 inch from the edge, and purposely frayed the edge by removing the cross threads up to the stitching The results are fabulous!! The fabric for this towel is thick enough to hide any embroidery threads from the back of my work. This is NOT a standard thin tea towel. Instead, it is more like a vintage mid to heavy weight cotton towel perfect for gift-giving, craft projects, and absorbent heavy work-duty. I am so happy with this purchase that I've decided these will be my all time go-to towels. Please Amazon, do NOT stop carrying this excellent product.

I ordered these towels in white for machine embroidery. They are nice enough, although not perfectly rectangular and a little hard to fold evenly. I have not washed them yet. I was going to buy another set for Easter embroidery but the price has increased 50% since I ordered the first set two weeks ago. They are not worth $5 each, imho.
