Silverline 465434 Polycarbide Abrasive Wheel 75 mm

Nothing wrong with this product except nut self untightens even when spannered. Used it for cleaning mortar off old bricks as hand wire brushing was taking too long. Went back to hand brush as they didn’t last very long at all.

This is fantastic for stripping paint and very light rust and prepping for welding.It isn't great at shifting proper crusty rust, as it will spoil the abrasive pretty quick.As long as you don't use heavy pressure these things last ages on car bodywork.

Wears out quickly, tried to clean mortar from bricks, took ages not great, cleaned rust from metal, not great. Won't buy again!

Am surprised at how well this works and stands up to the use given it wasn't very expensive. Sometimes you buy an item and expect it not to last long, but I suspect this will last quite a while.

cleaning off plaster from exposed brickwork - would definitely purchase again. Saved me a lot of time
