Q: Can someone confirm those extremely long steeping times of 7-10 minutes? Longest I've ever seen.

When you add your water you need to steep it for a full 5 min. Seems long, but the color will come out of the tea first and the flavor comes out last. You will then have a more flavorable tea. There is a video you can also watch.

Just the Assam tea lesves. (Verifiable by doing a Google search.)

Looks the same as what one finds doing a Google search in Images.

Your comment is confusing. That’s not the price ($17.99) and I actually found this to be one of the cheapest options ($/oz) by far for loose leaf Assam tea at Amazon. What am I missing here?
