Found a great brand!
Senior dog (puggle) 13 years old and about 25 pounds - been having a lot of trouble recently getting on the couch and bed by himself which is frequently as you can probably imagine. I get off - he gets off - I get on - he wants on.It's reached the point where I worry about encouraging him to try to get up himself and also can't keep up with it so it was time to shop for the stairs I never thought we'd need. I landed on Zinus because they look quality, seemed portable and easy to stow away, and were at a great price. I bought the XS:- They arrived very sensibly packaged and with a bunch of really nice promotional stuff - like what you'd get I assume with a Casper mattress.- They were super easy to assemble - you just pop in the second foam step and zip it close and you have the stairs. - They are light but sturdy - the foam has a nice give to it but more than support a 25-30 lb puggle- They are subtle and match a living room aesthetic - they're not rigid, clunky, or obvious- They are just well made at a great price. Our dog was quick to take to them and might think about ordering an additional set for the bed although having them for the living room was the need and it's been a huge help!

Perfect for little dogs with humans with high beds
I have a high bed and my 12 lb Silky Terrier likes to sleep with me. He's 11 years old and I noticed he was starting to have a little difficulty jumping on the bed. He would jump off the bed in the middle of the night for a sip of water and would cry to get back up on the bed. I was a little hesitant to get steps because I wanted something that was nice to look at and hopefully easy to teach him to use them. I shopped around and decided to try these steps because they looked nicer and better made than the other foam steps. They are made of very firm foam and are lightweight so they are ready to relocate. It came well boxed and it was easy to place the 4th foam insert (I got the large 4 steps). The steps are covered with a nice washable cover that will be easy to remove for laundering. It took no time at all to get my pup up the steps by using a treat on each step to coax him to the bed. After doing it 4 times, he uses the stairs to get on the bed and he needs a midnight sip, he can easily get back into bed. This was a smart purchase and I can recommend it.

Perfect for our senior kitty
We have a ~20 year old cat. He gets stiff hips and joints and while he usually jumps okay, he has bad days where he was unable to get to some of his favorite spots on the furniture. Additionally, the meds that treat his joint pain makes him sleepy and he's sometimes wobbly when he first wakes up. We've been using two sets of these steps in different rooms of the house to make sure he can still access his favorite spots and get back down safely even if he's particularly stiff that day or wobbly from meds. They get regular use, even from our younger cat. They've held up well so far, after several months of use they still look new. The material in the steps is firm enough to support our pets but soft enough that you don't have to worry about stubbing a toe. It is also light enough to pick up when vacuuming. The neutral color has blended in with our other furniture without sticking out. It has certainly improved our pet's quality of life and we now have peace of mind that he's not going to fall and hurt himself.

Our eldery cat LOVES them!
OK, at first she glared at them and refused to step on them, because she's a cat. But after she decided that SHE wanted to use them, she trots up and down them constantly to get on/off of our bed, and she even sits on them sometimes. We bought them because she injured her front paw and was limping, but now she can jump up and down, and sometimes does if she's far from the steps, but she does still like using them!I know some people said they had problems with the zippers, so I made sure the zipper teeth were lined up and nothing was blocking them, and I thought it was incredibly smooth and easy to put together. I had previously put a box at the foot of the bed for her to use as a step, but this is much sturdier, steadier, easier to climb, it looks nicer, and it takes up about the same amount of room.

My Dogs Use This!!!
I have two little 15 lb. rescue dogs. I have purchased three different types of doggie stairs as they sleep w/me & my bed is 30" high making it impossible for them to get up on it by themselves. One of my dogs would whine then reluctantly use one set of the stairs I previously purchased, but the other one would have nothing to do with any of them forcing me to lift him every time. Then before I could intervene, when he wanted down, he would jump. Needless to say this terrified me that he would injure himself & who knows how badly or the possible long-term effects. Consequently I felt forced to continue my search for another set of stairs both dogs would use. I have previously purchased several Zinus products for home use & they really are fantastic so when I saw that Zinus offers pet stairs, it gave me much needed hope. I've not been disappointed. These Zinus pet stairs are sturdy, definitely non-slip, easy to clean & just an overall blessing to me & my dogs, plus they don't hurt my toes if I inadvertently hit them! Though it took some training, it was well worth the effort because finally this time it paid off. Both my dogs use the stairs w/no prodding from me. They love them & my previously rebellious "stair using" dog now goes up & down honestly looking so proud of himself. My days of lifting dogs on/off the bed are over. Thank You So Very Much, Zinus!!!
