We just had the interior of our house painted. The painters repaired 2 holes in walls where door handles broke thru the drywall & installed new baseboard doorstops. Next we had new flooring installed. The floor installers promptly slammed holes back in the drywall in spite of the doorstops. When the painters came back to touch up, they fixed the drywall AGAIN.So we decided to put in hinge pin door stops on all our doors (and 2 hinge pin door stops on each exterior door). I liked the fact that I could buy a pack of 12 of them from Save 100 percent Deals. They were easy to install on most doors. On several, we needed to spray the door hinges with WD40 to get pins out of the hinges.We thought the problem was solved. Every door stopped short of hitting the walls. But then we noticed that the rubber bumper side of the hinge pin was capable of creating a dent on doorjamb. It seems that doorjambs are made of a rather wood. Now what?We found FurniMate 20.8mm clear round adhesive bumper pads. The rubber bumper on the hinge pins is about .5 of an inch in diameter. The FurniMate bumper pad is .8 inches making it just the right size. They are clear, unobtrusive, only $5 for 72, & thick enough to absorb the contact with the rubber bumper. When we need to paint again, I plan to try using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive on the clear bumper pads before attempting to remove them.I am really happy to have our drywall & our molding protected from holes & dents thanks to the partnership of Save percent Deals hinge pin door stops & FurniMate bumper pads!

In the listing photo, the plastic piece that rests against the door is translucent. This is similar to other hinge pin doorstops I have bought locally - they have a white round bumper that touches the trim and a translucent flat piece that rests against the door. Unfortunately, the actual product I received has a bright white plastic piece that rests against the door. It also is smaller than what I have on my other doorstops, and feels like a flimsier, cheaper type of plastic.The finish seemed OK but I sent these back due to the incorrect photo / item.

So I couldn't find satin nickel locally and used white prior which just doesn't quite look right. I'm in the middle of switching from brash to satin nickel for all the door hardware and this was the right color and price. Not much to say, as expected sturdy construction. Comes with spacer which incidentally should go between stop and top of hinge...I had been putting it upside down prior and realized it didn't do anything at the top of the stack. Good value.

I ordered this product because several doors in my home swung freely and would hit nearby walls. For doors with a wide angle, they work fine. But the pins are too short to prevent a door with a narrow angle from swinging too far. In all, they worked fine for about half the doors in my home but were useless for the others. I'd say it's around 90 degrees when the product stops working.

Our house is a fixer upper and the old spring style door stops were not doing their job. Every time I turn around another one is missing. These installed easily and look great and really bring a modern feel for a simple change. Also these work on all my doors where a traditional stop would not.

Never been asked to review the girth of a doorstop, but there you have it: 5 star thickness.These work, very adjustable (for full opening or doors near corner walls), and there's no hole in your base board.Best of all, no annoying "Booiiiinnnngggg" when accidentally hitting a spring.

I replaced all the door stopper of my house doors with these ones. They work as expected. The material seems durable and price was right for me. The reason for the 4 star is that had left dents on some of my door frames.

I bought these against my better judgement after reading a review or two that stated these damage the wood door trim. Needless to say, those reviews were spot on. Tried this product on a single door and tested it gently. Now I have dented door trim. Not happy. Returning them today. If you take your chances like I did, test one before installing any others. Terrible product.
