Works perfectly
Frost was building up in the freezer causing little to no cooling in the fridge. After some research, it seemed like the issue could be the heater. I installed this on my GE side-by-side fridge and it worked perfectly. Installation was easy and straight-forward and the product was an exact replication of the existing heating element.

Good replacement part
Not hard to install if you can find where it is located in your freezer section. Working fine since I installed it. Be sure that it is the correct part for your refrigerator by looking at the description and check the model number on your refrigerator.

Working great ! Don't be afraid to DIY... I installed this part in just a few minutes without any appliance repair knowledge. It was far less expensive than the OEM and is operating perfectly.

My GE Refrigerator suddenly stopped freezing and the Fridge side stopped cooling. With some research on youtube found out my Heater maybe blown , Took it apart and Yup! it was for sure blown. Purchased this part from Amazon, installed it and everything is back to perfect , saved me $3,000.

My fridge is working again!
My fridge was too warm and the freezer food was thawing out. It turned out the freezer coils were iced over. I pulled out the old defrost heater and noticed the glass tube was all black as if the heater element inside had burned out. I purchased this part hoping to save myself a costly repair or complete fridge replacement, and Voila! My fridge has been holding its temperature and going strong for several months now

Excellent quality material and any bad smell
This part is excellent quality materials. It seems better than genuine GE. I tested and it doesn’t have a bad plastic burn smell than other similar products. The price is very competitive. I strongly recommend it.
