Another cracking book
I read this, again, in one day, the day after reading The Last Viking!! As with the first book this one made me laugh out loud and cry quietly as I followed Joe and Mag-he's love story. We are reunited with Rolf and Merry-death and learn a little about what has happened in their lives. As with Rolf, Jorund is larger than life and just as arrogant as his brother. His misunderstanding of words and the ways of the 21st century life are hilarious and touching and I got immersed in their story quickly. I admit to being a new and now, soundly ardent fan of Ms Hill's work - light hearted, touching, fun and passionate. Read these if you want to escape for a few hours and enter that world where men are men and women are grateful!!

Wow, Sandra justs gets better and better
I don't know how she does it but, Sandra's books get better and better. In this one we meet Jorund (Rolf's brother from THE LAST VIKING) who travels on a quest for his father from the 10th to the 21st century on the back of a killer whale called Thora. He lands at the feet of Doch-whore Mag-he Muck-bride(Dr. Maggie McBride) a psycologist totally naked except for a sword. He ends up in a mental health institution for observation.Maggie doesn't believe him when he tells her he has travelled 1000 years to the future. She thinks he is mentally unstable. She does finally believe him in the end though.Joe(Jorund) finally suceeds in his quest for his father. He then decides to go back home to his time if he can find his way back.Like all of Sandra's book's this one is totally hillarious and the sex and passion is red hot. There is a letter from Sandra at the end of the book which tells us of further books in the Viking series and a possible sequel to FRANKLEY, MY DEAR and SWEETER SAVAGE LOVE. Please Sandra write quickly, I can't wait.

Very sexy & also very funny
Not many books can make me laugh out loud, but this one did (especiallywhen a patient did an impersonation of a snake!!). As well as being sexy and funny, the story was also quite touching which I think is something that only Sandra Hill could achieve.

Really? *eye roll* Iām all for fantasy but this is stupid
I read romance, fantasy and fiction, they all have their place and can cross over in certain paths but this is for the truly uneducated.... and Iām not even that smart.... one of the worst books ever

A great follow on to Rolf's and Merry-death's story!
Rolf's brother is sent forward in time in a very bizarre way - you have to read the book otherwise it just sounds silly - if you have a slightly warped sense of humour this will appeal to you. Of course, he meets a woman that he considers strange and ends up in a mental institution. Let your imagination work from there on!Great book a must-read if you like sequels!
