Neither the electroplating, nor the enamel have chipped or look like they are about too. It is about 1-inch tall and 1-inch wide. The pin that holds it is not the two little spikes with the clips or "damn its" that keep it afixed (like a woman's ear ring). The pin is a bar-type pin that hinges on the top and swings into a gate-latch on the bottom (like a vertical tie bar or tie clip). The bar-pin is about 3/4-inch long.

Was delivered earlier than expected. Packaging was well protected (bubble-wrap manilla packaging), the product was wrapped in shrink wrap to prevent any wether damage or otherwise, and was delivered in perfect and new off the shelf quality. Been brandishing it on the side of my scally cap since! Great product, was WELL WORTH every penny! (I chose standard shipping, by the way)
