holds 1/2" and up feeder insects
I bought these to use to hold my african fat tail geckos feeders when I gut load them. I buy online in a larger quantity to make it more economical for having a single reptile on feeder insects. I have very large bins to hold the bulk of the feeders (crickets, roaches, butterworms, wax worms, mealworms, superworms and silkworms) and use these to pull out his feeders for a week to make sure they're very well gutloaded before feeding off and also make it easier to catch and dust them before feeding. Insects under 1/2" can escape as I learned the hard way with crickets. These containers are pretty small so I don't see a use other than storing feeders. The bottom and sides have raised lines making crevices that poop gets stuck in. I use 2 of these and then once insects are fed off I collect more feeders and put them in 2 already clean bins until I wash the 2 used ones to extend their usage life. I hand wash and immediately dry them. I'm careful and gentle when I open the lids every other day per week and it's been 3 months with no cracks or breaking but I won't be too surprised when one does break which is why I'm saving and the 5th one. I would considering buying again if I don't find a better method.

Not for reptiles
They're about the size I expected them to be, and big enough for beetle larvae and pill bugs. My issue is that they're extremely brittly (easily broken) and the lid must have all four edges snapped for it to seal. If you lift up the top flap as show in the pictures, then the entire lid simply comes off which really defeats the purpose of the flap. However, they'll serve their purpose for me. It just depends on what you're using them for. I definitely wouldn't suggest keeping or even transporting reptiles in these.

Temporary project or terrarium
Was only able to use these for the mealworm pupa. If you open the lid everyday it will breakdown fast. It's very shallow and flimsy. Even if you take your time removing the lid carefully... Two weeks and the lids cracked. It was good for a short time. I went through them all.

petforu breeding feeder boxes
These boxes are perfect to hold all the feeders for my reptiles. They are stackable, predrilled breathing holes, light weight, and large enough one box alone to house up to 2000 super worms. It comes with 5 boxes which is nice. I ordered some saw dust for the feeders and put in boxes. I labeled al the boxes so I remember what I put in the boxes, they always crawl beneath the saw dust so I can not tell which feeder is what. Great for meal worms, super worms, dubia roaches, crickets, etc. I will buy some more for sure. Well worth the low price their asking. I say a needed item if you own reptiles.

Not bad
Works well for medium to larger insects as smaller ones can escape through the holes. Easily rectified if you add a screen or mesh. The plastic is a little flimsy but so far they have worked well for me. The kids snap on tightly too.

slightly weak but does the job
I think these are good for a few uses or batches of meal worms, but eventually the break. They seal well and the air vents are decent.
