Q: Will it fit an mp5k-pdw. length 14.5 x 4.5 in the center compartment. then a few mags in the front compartments?

Should fit if you are ok with it sitting at an angle in the bag. Should work fine.

Q: Can a 13.3 inch laptop fit in this bag?

The Messenger Bag will hold a 12.5"x9.5" Laptop in the padded location in the bag.

Q: So whats the difference between the new and old version? just the colors available? will be replacing my 5.11 rush mike bag...

This bag has a few features that have seemed to be removed. The original bottom featured a very nice rubberized coating that gave the bag more durability and a little bit of a waterproof effect. The new one does not have this feature.

Q: What size water bottle will fit in the end pouch ?

I can fit a 16.9 oz. disposable plastic water bottle in the pouch. Anything bigger than that is going to be a tight squeeze. You can forget about the larger Nalgene type bottles. It’s a great back and I’ve had it 5 years but if it had one flaw, it’s the water bottle carry size of the pouch.
